What motion detector did you end up using? I’m thinking of adding one to my mirror setup for longevity.

“The notebook? That’s just #lockerroomtalk.”
This is a fantastic list. I was going to spend some time on several of these (portraits and lighting, primarily) this weekend already and you just cut down my searching and focusing time by at least an hour. Also, can’t recommend enough that people try out third party firmware like magic lantern when they can.
Also, Kusanagi has very white features and is generally drawn as caucasian, iirc. It would actually be very weird to cast a Japanese actress to play her.
Never, ever, trust a grown man in a tank top in public.
Masterful sarcasm. 10/10
Do I ever quit? You want the last word oh so badly but keep baiting me. Ok.
More likely your victim complex. Good attempt at ad hominem, though. Keep on keepin' on.
I must have missed where I named myself the arbiter of truth and I'd have to fire myself. Unlikely.
Even among your cherry-picked anecdotes, the only one I find real fault with is someone being fired for their political opinions. That restaurant no longer believed the server was representing them well and ceased to acquire her services. Disability for depression and anxiety is a hugely sticky area that is rife with…
Yes, people are just getting fired left and right for demonstrating their 'personality' on the interwebz. Getting fired for posting stupid or hateful or reckless or illegal shit online is hardly something to cry about. If you are concerned about the things you post online coming back to haunt you, don't post them. If…
It seems like the obvious way for people to avoid such a thing is to deny that vapid narcissist inside them and simply refrain from posting stupid shit on social media.
I read the post. I don't think you understand what the felony murder rule is. It is not only for murders resulting from the actions of the felon, but also for deaths that occur during the commission of the underlying felony (even if caused by the act of a third party). This exactly falls under the felony murder rule…
You are incorrect. Nearly every state (if not every single one) has the felony murder rule, in some variant, on the books.
You are confusing salesmen and negotiators. Having done both, I can tell you they are very different. I used to sell high-end electronics to rich people and your methods are precisely what successful salespeople in those areas do. However, as a transactional attorney who actually negotiates deals with a competent…
The more significant test in CA is one of control. If the organization exercises any significant control over the individual in the execution of their duties (essentially HOW they do the work, not when and where), no amount of contracting will get around that. I did not read the scribd docs (who really gives a fuck…
I am a California attorney (corporate with some employment work) and I did not say this was meritless, merely that the contention that an independent contractor need be paid on a bi-weekly basis was nonsense.
They are likely not employees but contractors. The labor code for direct employees largely does not apply to contractors, especially with regards to pay. Your experience as a payroll consultant is thus irrelevant and I will choose not to trust you.
<whoosh>
To be fair, the same would be true in reverse, right? If he had worked part-time for 5 years and taken on the bulk of the domestic duties, he would make less upon returning to full-time work than you would (under these simplistic and limited parameters). Wouldn't that actually still be fair as the pay would represent…
