Didn’t read the full article, as I hope to play the Singleplayer campaign myself at some point. Just came to say ‘Thank You’ for highlighting that you feel the singleplayer is indeed worth it. I plan to pick up the game down the road when I can get it for cheap, used, and enjoy the story. I, too, have no interest in

The microtransactions were only ever about 5% of the problem for me. I have a healthy history of playing lots of Free-2-Play games, and enjoying them, without succumbing to the lore of the power-up via paying.

That’s where I’m at. Granted, I was never a 1000+ hour guy for D1, and just due to general life, I often don’t have 3-4 hour blocks to play where I can attempt the Raid. I’ve played parts of Leviathan, but haven’t finished the whole thing, and I’m almost at a point where I’m not even really sure if I care. What do I

So...one of the few times I will advocate buying used from another person or Gamestop. Looks like I’ll be waiting til this gets below $20, because that’s about all it looks worth to me. Can’t believe EA screwed this up THIS badly. I mean, come on. It’s freakin Star Wars. That should be enough on its own to make tons

Ugh...it pains me to my core to actually feel HAPPY that I had not pre-ordered this game, and do not plan on purchasing it. Star Wars has always been my #1 fandom, and freakin EA is taking a crap all over that. Both EA and Disney seem to have this issue lately where they think just because it has the Star Wars logo on

Whaa....?? :P

Eh, I suppose. As I noted, I only found about 150 of them, and I never truly felt like I had run out of inventory room. So that alone made me feel like I really didn’t need to worry about finding all of them, or even the 400 or so.

Still some of my favorite gaming memories. One of the few games I actually WANTED to get the full 1000 achievement points. Terrifying and enjoyable all at the same time!

I can agree with this to an extent. The ‘sloppiness’ of how Mario runs around and executes jumps is the only thing that bugs me, and makes me prefer Zelda. Platforming has always been part of the Mario universe, and in the 2D games, he slid around a little bit. But because it was only in the limited directions, it

Has the download size for Rocket League been released yet? I’m hoping to get that one, but I haven’t picked up an SD card yet. Just trying to plan accordingly.

“One would think that strenuous agreement with the scientific method —that things should be tested and tested and tested, and that no science is ever truly settled because we are always learning new things —would be a basic qualification to head up an agency that carries so much responsibility when it comes to

Reading through the various parts of this thread, it’s clear to me that you simply need to play some Switch games.

There may not be “Oh my god, groundbreaking!” kinds of innovation in the Switch. But they’ve perfected what fell flat before. Apple hadn’t had true innovation in 7 generations of iPhones (until the new X model) and that seems to work fine for them.

The only thing the Switch DOESN’T share with a PS4 or Xbox is the high-end graphics capability. Which why anyone expects that out of Nintendo after 15 years of bucking that trend, I won’t understand.

As a somewhat similar Nintendo fanboy (owned every console, and some of the hand helds, though not to the extent you have), I have to whole-heartedly disagree with you.

That was never an issue that affected a large number of people. Extremely isolated, and were direct-from-manufacturing issues. It’s not caused by the console getting too hot or such. If that’s the only reason you haven’t jumped on board yet, then I’d say, have no fear! Go buy! :D

Realy interesting read. Thanks for sharing!

Noticed this when trying out the demo at Target the other night.

There’s some nice improvements, but there’s also a few steps backward. The new story is cool, and there’s brand new areas to explore. But if you found yourself bored with ALL the parts of the first one, then I would guess you won’t care for D2.

Sounds like they are in desperate need of a Z-targeting system to lock on to enemies. Shame. Not like games haven’t been utilizing something like for 20-something years.
