I do not envy, for one second, game publishers who have to walk this line. To some degree, nothing they do will ever get met with across-the-board agreement.

Maybe instead of the “OMG the world is ending” kind of attitudes, you should focus more on how to convince those 1%’s to do more for society with their money. Look...we all fundamentally know that giving money to the government is far less efficient than just giving money to the people who need it. If we give it to…
But isn’t equality what everyone is arguing to achieve?
Even outside of the competitive modes, the matchmaking is infuriating. I regularly (as in, probably 60+ hours now) play side-by-side with my wife, just goofing off in Turf Wars. Neither of us are “competitive” type players, though I dabble in the Ranked modes more often, and would typically be considered the better…
I convinced the wife to let me splurge on an Elite controller about a year ago. Probably one of my favorite gaming purchases in a long time! (excluding my Switch, LOL)
Agreed! I never developed the ‘claw’ method, but even after owning an Elite controller for about a year now, I’m still constantly forgetting which paddle I bound a particular action to. Same issue I’m having now with going back and forth between my Xbox and my Switch, and the A and B buttons being swapped between…
Given the fact that we all assume that there MUST be something hidden around the Tower (a la Felwinter Peak jumping puzzle), this counter is going to have a tough time staying above zero, LOL.
Granted, I haven’t got MIDA for D2 yet (had it in D1), so I can understand why the list is like this at the moment. But I recently got Hard Light in D2....holy crap I love that gun right now. And I typically HATED auto rifles in D1.
I think of the D2 story a lot like the Halo games. It’s a mix of shooter levels and semi-cinematic playable scenes. The story for D2 is definitely better than D1 was before the DLC. You don’t NEED the DLC to understand what’s going on, that’s for sure. There’s a few little tid-bits or off-hand comments here and there…
I’m loving the demo, though I haven’t had much time to spend on it yet. Really only played up through Olberic’s first ‘big’ fight. Does the demo let you get to a point where you have more than one character in a battle? I’d like to see how that plays out.
Definitely an area-to-area variation thing. Our Target has never had them all the times I’ve been in there. For the first time ever, I saw a couple of the Splatoon bundles on the shelf in Walmart just this past week (6 months after release!). I live in a relatively large city, so I think they don’t last long around…
Came here at first to write “Please suck...please suck...please suck....’cause otherwise I won’t be able to resist buying a PS4 VR rig”.
My only issue with it is that these turn-based RPG style games, with the old NES/SNES graphics level, is not even as good as what a lot of companies are doing in the Mobile market these days. The visuals for Octopath look amazing, and I’m glad it isn’t fully 8-bit. But I’m struggling to understand what the business…
Same!! I swear I’ve heard it as ‘Eenix’ my whole life (and I’ve been playing their games since FF1 days). Doubt that hearing it this way will change my habits though.
The point is that $50 a month on a phone, and $10 a month on Netflix, and $10 a month on this, or $20 a month on that....it all adds up pretty fast. Saving that money from month to month adds up to a nice down-payment on a house in just a couple years.
So...if it’s a 1-in-a-million chance that someone else could unlock your phone, and there are 7 billion people in the world....then, let’s see...carry the 1....oh, around 7,000 people that could have access to your phone?! Sure....sounds REAL secure.
We have both an Xbox One S (bought specifically for access to 4K HDR stuff) and we still have a 1st Gen Apple TV. I am SUPER excited about this upgrade (FINALLY) because we’ve been having to use the Xbox for 4K Netflix content the last year. And while this is certainly workable, the Apple TV just simply is easier. The…
Yes!!! I love the idea of the Sting Ray, but consistently felt like I was stupidly lucky if I managed even 1 kill with it. Felt very luck-based and no amount of skill was helping me do any better with it. Glad to see it get some love. :)
You will NEVER get me to pay $30 for a 4K download through my Apple TV, when I go to any store and pay the same $30 for a 4K disc package that will ALSO include standard blu-ray, maybe DVD, AND a Digital download code. Even if that digital download is for a standard HD, and not 4K, I can’t fathom why they would ever…
Obviously, cross-platform PVP is a problem given the different frame rates, etc. But I had high hopes (maybe pipe dreams) that they would at least allow PVE cross play between Xbox1 and PC, given the way Microsoft has pushed for so much “Games for Windows” type stuff the last couple years. Will definitely be bummed if…
