Considering how you could spend minimum 150 hours on Zelda alone and not really see everything in the game, which would equal a $2.4 per hour deal (assuming you pay retail price), that’s a heck of a deal. I’ve paid more than that on a per hour rate for a lot of other games, and that’s not to mention the 200 hours my

See, I disagree with this to some degree. First of all, I play games all the time at home with a simple head-set on, and no direct feed of the sound into my headset. I use the speakers in my sound system, and I have no issue whatsoever distinguishing the two things. Oh wait, that’s basically how every chat system on

More Mushrooms is great except on all those levels that have no guardrails to keep you from flying off all the time. I swear, I get power mushrooms more than any other item on freaking Rainbow Road. REAL helpful there, game!  >:(

I always hated the bikes. Then I got the Master Cycle unlocked in MK8D, and I figured, what the heck, I’ll try it for a little bit.....O...M...G! :)

I actually felt like MK8D went back to the roots in some ways. My wife and I used to play MKWii all the time, and she would regularly kick my butt. My wife exclusively uses the motion controls (aka steering wheel style), while I play old-school SNES style (but with a thumb stick instead of a D-pad, obviously).

To be honest...I haven’t played games on an emulator a lot over the years, but when I did, Crono Trigger seemed to always be one of the first ones I would gravitate to. So in this case, I’ve played that one a dozen times or more. While I would totally play it again, I’m super excited to see these other ones instead!

That’s how FFXII felt to me too. I’m not sure why. Elements from VI, VII, X, and XIII stick SO much better in my mind. I vaguely remember exploring sewers of the city with the young boy and his couple friends in XII, but I couldn’t tell you anything else important about the story of the game. Granted, a lot of the FF

Nintendo is having to fight with a bunch of other companies over components or raw materials (like the screen) that are used throughout the handheld/tablet market right now. So the flucuation from week to week is likely based on how many Nintendo is actually able to produce.

Don’t get help! Seriously though, I managed to find 118 out of the 120 shrines without any help at all. And then the last 2 I only got my wife to look at my map and tell me “Ok, you need to explore this general area more”. How I hadn’t tripped over those two previously, just thanks to the Sheikah Sensor, I don’t know.

Polls like this showcase why Nintendo continues to do so well, and why they don’t worry about fighting in the resolution battle. Good games do not require the latest/greatest graphics. The gameplay sells the game first. How good it looks is secondary at best. We have a 4k HDR TV now, but that’s because the other TV

Can I get some confirmations here? I’m hearing that you can’t play split-screen local co-op at all? In other words, if my wife and I both want to play, we’d have to have two Switches? Even if we DID have two consoles, how easy is it to make sure you get in the same on-line lobby?

That’s kind of where I’m at. I’m thinking I may pick up a used 3DS and Metroid, and perhaps the couple other Zelda titles or other things I know of on the 3DS that I would want to play. But it would definitely have to be a “Oh, I got a bonus from work, I’m gonna treat myself” kind of thing, because otherwise, I don’t

I partially disagree. I used the Destiny stand-alone app quite a bit while playing on my Xbox. I would use it for tracking down groups to play with, swapping out inventory, etc. So it got used frequently. I haven’t played as much in the last 6 months or so, so I haven’t got to try Xbox’s new on-board LFG system. But I

Wireless mice that charge via wireless induction through the mouse pad? This is the first application of wireless charging that I find myself genuinely excited about. Too bad I rarely game on a PC anymore! But that’s awesome!

Destiny 1 was in-and-of-itself a really great game though. In the realm of “how many hours of fun do I get for the price I paid”, Destiny far outweighs what I’ve paid for some games over the years.

but I’m one of those rare people who actually enjoyed the wiimote motion controls for aiming and looking around in Prime 3

I LOVE the fact that I saw threads on reddit and such several times over the past weeks/months about whether people would rather see a new 2D or a new 3D Metroid announced. I NEVER expected Nintendo to answer with “You get both!”

I’m so glad I planned to be home for lunch today. I literally yelled at my TV and jumped up from the couch. I did NOT expect that at all. And I’m in the category of people that are actually super pumped about the things Nintendo was already doing. So to add stuff like MP4 on top of it....Man, am I so psyched for the

Agreed! I have a good friend who raves about playing it on his PS4. And my nephew just got it on his XBOX. I hadn’t considered picking it up yet, but if I can play it on the go AND against those people....this just moved into a ‘must have’ slot for me!
