It's weird to find myself continuously in the minority on this one. I actually quite liked FFXIII. Was it pretty linear? Yeah. But it had a really awesome story, IMO. And I don't understand why people fuss about the characters either. Some of them were rather trope-based, but still interesting. And now that I'm

Wait, I'm sorry. You cite a study that discusses how the USA's education is lagging behind that of other parts of the world, and somehow specifically tie this to religiously-influenced textbooks? Speaking of fallacies and leaps of logic.

Largely, I agree with the logic he's applied here. However, the biggest problem I have is one of the reasons I stopped watching the Clone Wars cartoon a couple seasons ago too. Organizations do NOT let their leadership go off on hair-brained escapades without proper protection. And an X-Wing pilot's suit does not

I played KOTOR 2 on my 360 just fine. Not sure about the first one though. I had already played it on PC a few years prior, so I didn't bother picking it up again.

I would definitely agree. I've had my current address for about 10 years, and it has held up well. I get some spam, but the filter always catches it, and I rarely have trouble with losing important messages. The 'hype' of Gmail never really seemed like it was THAT different to me to be worth all the hassle of trying

Huh?! What was that noise?

Wow, thank you so much for this article and putting some perspective on these things. Brought tears to my eyes reading some of these and thinking about what sacrifice and selflessness these men showed. True heroes!

At GE Aviation, we use friction stir welding for aircraft engine parts. This is pretty cutting edge technology, and it's neat to see it being miniaturized to the point of being capable of mass-production levels at this size. Very cool.

After having just got around to finishing The Slab a couple weeks ago, I would kill for a GOW movie. So much good material to work with, whether they went with the characters from the games or not.

Ummm...somebody apparently hasn't done any research on the EU of Star Wars. There's plenty of good explanation as to why there's not much good knowledge about the Jedi during the time of ANH. Palpatine routinely held book burnings, or the SW universe equivalent. He was obsessed with eradicating the Jedi from the

I don't think either Ackles or Padalecki (sp? sorry) were that great at acting during their first season either. I enjoyed the 2nd episode, and am definitely planning to give the show time to prove itself. I just hope the network does the same.

!!!! @ the last one! That is still one of my favorite short stories, to this day! "Everyone dies." :D

Woah....I actually have my SS2 disc around somewhere. Almost makes me want to pop it in and fire it up on my PC connected to the 42" tv. :D Still one of my all-time favorite games. And yes, fans of the first Bioshock will love the similarities.

I think the problem is that the 'haters' mostly consist of people who are trying to dig as deep as possible into the program. For most of us 'normal' users, it's a great app. It's certainly way better than the Map app as of iOS5. I've yet to run into any issues with it myself.

Well said, JesusRulesOverCreation!!! I find it funny that the whole basis for the article is on a "geological timescale" which has never been shown to actually exist in reality.

Sweet. This review actually makes me interested in picking this up now. I was REALLY frustrated with the ending of the first one. Yeah, I get the meta-textual thing of sometimes you find nothing at the end of the rainbow. But for a video game, that was a HUGE let-down after the big build-up. So, sounds like Tina's

I use my old school Earbuds for all sorts of activities on the move. I have a pair that the microphone stopped working, but I still use them for things like going to the gym, mowing the lawn...Never have any trouble with them staying in my ears, unless I get the cord caught on a branch or something. Are they as good

Definitely agree. Overall, I was very non-interested in the story. It all felt so contrived, and even though all was not as it seemed with the bad-guys and who was really in control, it just all felt really forced to me. So a change in writer would be OK with me.

I enjoyed most of the first BL, but the ending pissed me off so bad, that honestly, I have no desire to play this one right now. To have people spend 20+ hours with a carrot dangling in front of them, only to rip it away with some ridiculously stupid plot device at the end of the game was an enormous let-down. It left

He really put his heart into building that!
