SUVs cost much more, get worse gas mileage and have less space. Unless you're towing something very heavy, minivans are far more practical for 99% of families. As long as you're not too caught up in looking "cool". See below
"I'm not perfect, but at 42 years old I can say that I've never even been drunk. I've never smoked or done any drugs. I'm as pure as pure can be."
This was my immediate thought. He's got a plan in place for isolating and then drugging his victims. I'm sure there's a Plan B for when they fight.
I heard this clip on Stern this morning, first thing after waking up, and I will be raging about it all fucking day now. For the record, Howard Stern even immediately pointed out "biting a rapist on the dick sounds like a great way to get your head knocked in". Howard Stern knows you can't blame a victim for her own…
I also enjoy the gym, but, like, I just want to hang out on the treadmill, maybe some bike, some light weights. Hardcore gyms with strong followings creep me the fuck out. I don't need to bond with my gym, I just want to do some cardio not outside, you know?
I'm not giving it a thumbs up until I see tiny hamster watching tiny football on the couch with his tiny paw down his pants after the meal.
you should shed excess water weight by peeing on everything they own
Reading some comments on this article are extremely disconcerting to someone who has specialized in immigration. There is a total disconnect between some preconceived notions regarding immigrants/prejudices about immigrants and current/historical immigration policy.
THE MOON BELONGS TO AMERICA, AND EAGERLY AWAITS THE ARRIVAL OF OUR ASTRO-MEN. WILL *YOU* BE AMONG THEM?
Everything he said reminds me of those hilariously naive educational films from the 1950s about what the future would be like: "And meals will be in PILL FORM! And we'll go to work in our FLYING CARS in the bright future of 1988!"
Good. As a higher ed professional, if I ever make it high enough up the ladder to have this kind of power I would make this decision too. Fraternities and sororities are fine in theory, as are any other social clubs, but the foundation upon which they have been built at American colleges and universities is racist,…
There is absolutely zero good that fraternities and sororities bring to campus. I can say this as a former sorority member (although that was back in the 90's). It's an excuse to drink with the "cool kids" in a way that makes you look more socially acceptable to people who you shouldn't care what they think about you…
I went to a Big 12 school, so fraternities and sororities were huge. I just....don't understand them. Sure, it's a place to make friends, but basically all of college is a place to make friends. The "community service" aspect that people throw around doesn't make sense either, IMO - just go volunteer?? Idk, maybe I'm…
I use the 5 minute rule. If I am feeling low energy and want to skip a workout, I allow myself to skip but only after I do the first 5 minutes of it. It's amazing how few workouts I actually skip. It's all about Newton's first law, an object at rest stays at rest and an object in motion stays in motion.
I always find this kind of advice puzzling because most divorces are initiated by women. Shouldn't the husbands be the ones adjusting their daily diet to keep their wives at home?
That instagram post is actually a picture of her returning to heaven from whence she came.
You have to give her SOME credit. It's hard to make it in journalism these days when you're secretly a cat with a lime on its head.
Only $100,000? He's a man of principle then. I'd sue her for a lot more. Because he'll get it if the police contacted her and they still ran the story.
Sometimes when I'm walking on the sidewalk with my female friends we'll see something shiny in the street and run out into traffic to get a better look. I've lost so many friends that way. (And it's usually a gum wrapper.)
