I’ve only seen two of these - Ghostbusters and Star Trek: Beyond. Of those, I only really liked Ghostbusters, and I’m someone with a bunch of Star Trek tattoos all down my leg.

Plus, everything is CGI. CGI has come a long way, but I don’t think anyone’s brain mistakes it for the real deal. Armies of CGI soldiers or catastrophes feel weightless and meaningless.
