In don’t know, STEM doesn’t have seemed to help you with your critical thinking skills and getting rid of liberal arts degrees. Anyone who thinks this doesn’t grasp the concept of the importance of a wide variety of degree options and how it enhances our society. Do liberal arts majors make less money? Sometimes. But

Oh I see, I haven't finished the last 2 eps. Well that's a tad refreshing I suppose.

Oh I meant the teenaged girl dating the douche. But yes, I was pleasantly surprised to see the sherif working with the mom.

I’m really enjoying this show. It’s creepy and fun. I just wish they didn’t have so many cliche storylines: girl dates douche, creepy guy is creepy and then they become friends, 3 boys are the adventurers with 1 token poc, etc. I don’t know if this is part of the 80s nostalgia but I feel like there are other types of

Thank you for your mansplainy opinion. When there are proportionate representation of LGBT characters and I finally get to see 2 women have a happy ending, or represented on more than just a handful of shows, maybe your silly boy complaints will hold weight.

Point completely missed, lots of your statements wrong. But nice try.

Proportionately, yes more lesbians are killed off than other characters. It's simple math: killed/total # of represented group. I love how our small population has made you so flustered though, as it should be; the more LGBT representation, the more people not wanting to hear about our concerns and feelings toward

Holy sexist response, Batman.

OH god, this fight was allll season. I can’t believe how drawn out it was, I gave up with the last few episodes of it

I usually find social media “activism” silly (“like this post for a prayer, share if you care”) but I’m really enjoying how this is playing out. I’m glad people are using their voices and their tv watching, or lackthereof, to show that minorities might be a small percentage of the population, but when we come together

Thank you for this article. I know we are a small minority in the grand scheme, but this discussion is important to so many queer women. If only a handful of people, especially showrunners and writers, empathize and learn a bit (amongst all the assholes arguing about “it’s just a show get over it, wah!” Completely

I hated how when they were all at the beach in Hawaii Katie and Scheana were slut shaming Lala for her choice in bathing suit but they were wearing equally revealing swimsuits (ok, maybe Lala had a tiny bit less).

That’s literally every show with 2 women as a lead. Figuring there has never been a show with a lesbian as a lead, I’m pretty sure this will be more impactful.

Irony:you Being invested at bitching about people being invested.

I love the irony of you getting so hysterically outraged (“done with society!”) at the LGBTs outrage.

I love dismissive commenters who lack the ability for constructive criticism and proper grammar.

That's the point. Finally, a strong, badass female character that happen to be gay. I'm tired of shows only portraying LGBT people with their main characteristic as being gay and their storyline about them being gay. Why is straight the default? Representation of all kinds is important. Also, I get that the show isn't

I think it’s fantastic they got together. It was such an amazing, well written relationship that the queer community rarely, if ever, sees. i think that’s why it upset the queer community so much. But I also think that Lexa could have gone out a number of different ways, she didn’t have to die. And the AI could’ve

If you’re goin to try to be offensive at least get it right: I’m a dyke.

No, she was a strong, smart female warrior who happen to be a lesbian. A character who wasn’t defined by her sexual orientation, as lesbian characters usually are. A three demensional character who, oh yeah, was queer. And come on, that was a “marvelous, stunning plot twist?” We knew she was going to die, but by a
