I’m British. In UK English, helm is a noun. Turning nouns in to verbs (there’s an actual word for that, but I’ve forgotten what it is), I believe is influence from German (as is the joining of multiple words in to one compound word). I don’t think helming means anything. Helm is not a verb. But if we were to engage in semi-illiteracy, I would take it to mean piloting a ship. I guess she’s going to join the Royal Navy.

Yes the Oxford/AstraZenica vaccine is cheap and easy to transport. My comment was in response to the comment at the end of the 7th paragraph in the article saying that the Moderna and BioNTech vaccines require very cold storage temps.

The mRNA (Moderna and Pfizer) vaccines may not need to be stored at extremely low temperatures. That’s just where they’ve start (being conservative).

I agree with that as a generalized statement, but I don’t see how that relates to this context. An error was made during a trial that is attempting to bring a vaccine to market much faster than has ever been done before (the Ebola vaccine was previously the fastest at 5 years).
