It’s not going to be an easy task for Cassian since some of those faction leaders, like Saw Gerrera (Forest Whitaker), don’t exactly get along with the others.

Yes! Moonage Daydream. I’ve been waiting to see that.

Saying something is “plausible” does not mean there is positive evidence of that thing being the cause. Please learn about the burden of proof.

I suspect it’s ultrasonic vibrators placed on windows to prevent people from listening in from outside with laser microphones.

My implied point was that there were no memorable events. Too many could have been one of the causes of that.

...which is rumored to be set after the events of The Rise of Skywalker

I too don’t see the problem with glass in landfills. Isn’t that like saying we need rocks and pebbles to biodegrade, otherwise they’ll just sit in the ground for millennia?

The dialog in the first S3 episode was the least of my problems. The ridiculous puppets; the small galaxy syndrome; the complete lack of tension in the cliched asteroid belt battle against the comical space pirates (contrast to Luthen Rael’s escape from the Arrestor Class cruiser); and the “barely an inconvenience” bat

Inventory management is hard. Long supply chains mean products have to be made anticipating demand months in the future. Make too little stuff and you miss out on sales. Make too much and you end up with excess inventory that either has to be discounted, or scrapped and taken as a write off.

My wife got me that one. I was also going to comment that it’s better than the LEGO one, which doesn’t have enough balloons.

This seems to be a particular issue in the US. I got very few dings when I lived in the UK, but after I moved to the US, I started getting them all the time.

Autonomous vehicles need to be MUCH safer than human drivers to be accepted, because when they fail, they’ll fail in unhuman ways that will garner excess media attention.

My bet is that it’s caused US equipment intended to prevent people from listening to conversations inside the buildings using laser microphones.

My Ph.D. in the early 90s was in 3D chip stacking. Tthen in the early 2000s I continued working in the field on various projects, included DARPA programs. So it’s always very gratifying for me to hear about new 3D IC product releases.

I think I see where the problem lies. I realized that I have two distinct uses for the phrase “opened doors”. When I think of nepotism, I take it to mean an active act of someone (figuratively) holding a door open, when it would be closed for another person. This was what I was trying to convey in my comment, as that

Again, we were discussing nepotism, not privilege. You might want to learn the difference.

Stockholders thinking their investments should only go up and then trying to sue if they don’t, is standard these days.

What? We are talking about getting access to college, or getting a foot in the door for a job. Having a parent who shares with you the things they know and passes on their skills to you is a huge benefit, but it’s not what we typically mean when we talk about “opening doors”. That typically refers to nepotism.

Yay! I’m excited to see another Ford Motors advertisement masquerading as a movie!

I was somewhat on the fence about TLOU until episode 3. I was incredible impressed by the writing and direction of that episode. You don’t have to be gay (I’m not) to appreciate it, because it deals with themes that are central to the human experience regardless of sexuality and gender.
