Why do Americans call it Foosball?

This is a good thing. iPhones have a lower ecological footprint than people.
Much as I'd like to see tech companies (like the one I work for) get special treatment, ad hoc tax policies based on what politicians, lobbyists and opinion polls favor distort the market and create unforeseen consequences.
Gorillas have small penises!
He has better teeth than Washington who had false teeth due to poor dental hygiene. Isn't it interesting how we create false images of perfection for our heroes?
I always thought it was the other way around. The bigger the display of machoism, the greater the degree of compensation for feelings of penile inadequacy.
Ooo! I worked on the original proposal for that before leaving my company before the company before last (that was 5 years ago). Nice to see it made it this far.
Thanks for the informed input. I was trying not to jump to the conclusion that someone screwed up.
It's sad that people lost their lives in this accident. It does seem incredible that such a thing could happen today, but then there will always be human error (until the machines take over), and GPS doesn't prevent a mechanical rudder failure or something of that nature.
My thoughts exactly!
Wimpy is UK based. They've been around since the 1950s.
That's true. Although an article I read some time ago (and was unable to find after a quick search) said 5% of the country's total. Whether that was a misreporting of that article or different data, I can't say.
I doubt that toilet paper uses anywhere near 5% of a country's energy. That's the same energy used by all the servers in the USA (including cooling for those servers).
Japanese "washlet" toilet seats like this consume 5% of the country's electricity. They are not more ecologically sustainable than toilet paper.

I presume you don't go to work if you have even a minor case of diarrhea? ;)
This is a very clever piece of design.
I pity you. I have to occasionally go in to a cleanroom for a few hours and that's enough for me.
I think the impact of this will be quite low. Compare it to all the plastic bottles. People might buy one of these every two years and thousands of plastic bottles over the same time period.
