Dozens... *blink*
Minor drug infractions have been used to systematically disenfranchise the poor, especially poor minorities for decades, and he frees “Dozens”...
Maybe this is why they gave him the Nobel Peace Prize...
Am guessing more likely he was testifying about an event much closer to or before 1985. Or he uses quaaludes as a generic term for similarly impairing drugs he used on his victims.
*sigh*
Logically I know that he did this, and this the thought of it is f*cking revolting...
Emotionally I can tell that my brain is fighting tooth-and-nail to hold on to cherished childhood memories of his comedy, and by extension him. Which is actually equally disturbing to me on a logical level.
He may have been testifying to something he had done before, back when they still made them ala Roman Polanski? I don’t know.
After 20 years would they even have any efficacy? All of that stuff degrades over time.
Out there you can’t stop moving, it’s all bat country.
Has anyone explained to him that the lyrics are “Don’t stop believing” and not “Don’t stop wife beating”?? And why does this guy bear an awfully weird resemblance to Voldemort?
Hand Jiving incident gone horribly wrong.
Today is Pride week in Seattle. With today’s SCOTUS ruling I expect the party has just been upgraded from happening to epic rager. I’ll be curious to see how the city copes with the hangover.
Yeah, my note on the recording times for actual security DVRs assumes motion-capture only storage... I have a good deal of personal experience with this.
The argument you are making is one that most average users can’t support. They don’t really know how to set up a NAS at home, let alone set it up to backup to the…
Apparently you’ve never seen their online DVR feature then, which marks when there is motion and can send you e-mailed screen captures of it as well.
Your argument about 32+ days is also invalid as most DVRs don’t actually have enough storage to hold that much footage. An 8 camera system at standard dvr with an…
That isn’t their business model, so you arguing that you should be able to do whatever you want is really kind of a moot point. Plus, their streaming interface allows for pretty awesome customizations such as alerting zones and notification that your camera is offline etc. If I want to view footage I can just pull up…
Ah, so you’re not interested in data, you’re just interested in complaining.
First off, none of the Dropcam/Nest cameras are waterproof/water resistant. So 6 cameras is really way overkill for the solution they are providing. In fact, none of the cameras you’re talking about are weatherproof, nor are their cables…
For 10 days of history it’s $100 or $300 for 30 days. Each additional cam is added at 50% off list price. So 4 cameras would cost $250 per year for 10 days of recording time.
I’m not sure where you get $1300 per year dude.
So you’re angry that they’re not letting you do something with their system that many systems already support, and as such because it doesn’t fit your needs and financial model, it’s stupid.
Got it.
Considering Dropcam doesn’t have a slot for an SD card... that’s to be expected. And is the NAS handoff to Amazon or wherever a realtime stream or is there a few minutes of delay?
It’s basically just the next evolution of the Dropcam. Nothing more.
Which works great up until the thief steals your local backup when they steal your local machine.
I like the dropcam simply because it doesn’t have local storage to be stolen. It’s all streamed offsite.
Do you like movies about gladiators?
