I regularly have lucid dreams, the problem is, I find them not at all restful. Quite the opposite in fact.
OS X is BSD, and much of the software for which is open-source and thus exploits are often found quite readily. The only real thing that makes a Mac secure, the same as a Windows machine is the default built-in-firewalling of incoming requests for connection.
