I'm so, so disappointed in these "ol buddy, ol pal" type of articles. This is a person. The misery she's gone through cannot be summed up in 12 random points.

I can't understand the absorbed lack of compassion in your post. With all due respect, this person's story transcends aphorisms that in other scenarios might be fine. Here, you know, one person's story is not your own. No one can tell you how to heal.
