You’re totally right dude. If only you were there with your amazing ability to clearly assess and forcefully act upon such a situation, tragedy could have been averted. You must have been helping some other citizen in need at the time...

My dumbass mechanic accidentally cut a fuel line trying to replace a ten year old exhaust manifold. It took him 2 weeks to find another fuel line and I had to get a rental that cost about as much as getting an experienced mechanic to replace the manifold.
I actually prefer the proximity sensor to the backup camera because I can look at my mirrors while listening to the beeping. Where as with the backup camera, you can look at your mirrors or screen.
I live in a city and drive a full size crew cab pickup for work. I cannot imagine not having the sensors. They make parking so much easier. Especially when the cap is on the bed.
The Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix is usually the third weekend of July with all kinds of events in the weeks leading up to the actual race.
Mustangs attract the worst drivers. Yesterday some asshat in a GT was doing that in a tunnel next me, during rush hour.
Not to mention the two weeks of car shows leading up to race weekend and the events at the Pittsburgh International Race Complex. Which just finished a major track expansion this year. And attendance at all the events is free. The whole thing is awesome.
The nuns at my kid's school ALL drive them. I don't get it. Nice job with the video.
The post is worded a little strange but they took the truck and the trailer.
She's an idiot. She may not have caused the accident but she's going to get herself killed. You don't set up your shot on the inside of guide rail on a 10 foot wide shoulder during a snow storm, in the dark no less. She was even more likely to get hit by people panic braking when they see the sideways truck ahead of…
Hands down the GM J-body was the most ordinary car of the 80's 90's and aughts. The car for people that absolutely do not give a shit about what they drive.
Holy shit. Spending that much time in a D&B would make me insane.
Depends on the size and whether or not you keep it docked. If it's bigger than 20 feet and you keep it docked it can get into the thousands per month when you include buying insanely expensive gas at the docks and insurance. Any day you don't use it you're flushing money down the drain. That's why they say the two…
It seemed like the kid may have been in shock. I had that happen to me when I was a kid and broke my arm. I had vertigo for a minute or so after it happened and couldn't stand. It took me a little while to get my head together and calm down.
The gates are designed to be flimsy for just this situation. Cars are supposed to be able to break them easily if need be.
Some people just freeze up in high stress situations. Their minds literally can't accept what is happening as its happening. Check out Amanda Ripley's book The Unthinkable: Who Survives When Disaster Strikes - and Why. She researched a number of disasters to figure out why some people survive and some don't. It's…
I was going to say the same thing. A lot of Europeans, and it seems Brits in particular, don't really have a sense of how huge this country and how much of it was developed after the car was invented.
I would probably add get the vehicle manual out to step four. If you have no clue what you're doing it will save you some time finding the jack and proper jack points.
Look at the price difference between the two lists. A lot of young inexperienced drivers are just looking for the cheapest car, like a Chevy aveo, to get them from A to B because thats their only option. Not too many kids in the 16-20 year old range can afford a Mercedes or an Audi.
