Whoops, you're right. Thanks.

I'm kind of disappointed that development is concurrent in both platforms. It would be fine if the two were completely separate entities or completely the same, but not the way they're currently doing it. The 3DS version is holding the Wii U version back (by virtue of limiting the number of characters on the Wii U

No, the only thing that a Chinese speaker has over anyone else (and vice versa) is that they have pre-learned the Kanji. In some cases this can backfire if the Kanji have different meanings or are written differently in Japanese.

Wat.

I know what you mean, but honestly, like I said, it's one of the unavoidable pitfalls of a medium.

Not surprised. S-E has made some significant strides in cornering the Chinese market (FF13 had a Chinese localization that included English/Chinese subtitles with Japanese voice acting), and fan response was rather overwhelmingly positive. Here's hoping they can make it work.

Whoops, double post.

Well, the U.S. has its own analogue in American Army, and honestly, it's no more 'despicable' than any other video game used as a medium to forward an agenda or cause.

Hmm, I see. I suppose there are good cultural and historical reasons for that, but the point I was trying to make is that the use of video games as a medium to push an agenda isn't unheard of. I'm just surprised people are reacting in this way.

I agree, but every country is guilty of this - the U.S. included. I accept it as the evil inherent in any medium.

I am shocked, SHOCKED, that Spectacular Spider Man isn't on that list.

That guy was actually Iron Fist, making an heretofore unknown cameo.

I still think stuff like this is the funniest method:

Their contention is that these conventions lead to things such as idol worship which blasphemes because Jesus is the only idol we should be worshipping.

Well, one person's nightmare fuel is another person's scientific curiosity.

I like Miles Morales, the origin is a dumb coincidence (because comics) but the character is interesting.

Actually, saying that one of the episodes is 'among the best' out of one of the greatest animated series of all time has significant meaning. ;P

It helps that the Robin one comes from one of the best Batman TAS episodes ever made.

Whoa, seriously? Not cool.
