She has control over her body and can do whatever she pleases with it. She doesn't HAVE to resort to selling her body but she chooses to do so.

I don't agree with that, but certain situations and context will predispose some of us to do thing that will only increase the suffering. Maybe not all of us, but maybe a few, or even some. The OP is only hoping for a scenario where suffering will be kept to an absolute minimum. At least, that's how I see it.

Well, with a group of white men, it is less likely to be ascribed to the evils of an entire race/religion, whereas people have less trouble doing it to ethnic/religious minorities. With the latter, vigilante justice towards innocent individuals is much more likely.

You have a point, but I think that if you want to be an activist in any capacity you need to remain fairly consistent in your views. Contradictions and double standard really damage and undermine the values one champions, especially if those values involve equality.
