Only one who plays 100% honestly?

I’m not a Democrat, so I agree that the DNC should get fucked and needs serious reforms. But in the meantime, it ain’t changing before November. And as Bernie was running as a Democrat to be the de facto head of the Democrats, he understood the rules before the race began. I would take his complaints a whole lot more

Short answer: Because that’s what a gracious loser does in a primary that leads to a GE where Trump is on the other side.

And it’s strange that many of his supporters seem a-ok with that rigidity, knowing full well that it has completely destroyed the Republican party. It’s weird to imagine someone looking at the Tea Party and thinking, “Hm, maybe we should have one for the left?”

Your final paragraph touches on some of the many criticisms his former colleagues have levied against him. It reminds me of when Barney Frank said that Bernie’s posturing and arrogance alienate his natural allies.

I didn’t say she was the nominee. I said she was the presumptive nominee. And I’m glad that you’ve surrounded yourself with a purity test’s worth of friends, but real life and real votes thus far show that people have voted for her and for Trump. I’m not sure what you mean by Bernie having the support of the “PEOPLE,”

You are far more patient than I. :)

But by withholding his support, and thus stoking the ire of his supporters further, I can’t imagine that he’s doing much to get into the good graces of the DNC. I’m of the belief that he would have much more clout if he endorsed now, and became the progressive arm of the Clinton campaign. Instead, he’s just an

But I think it’s unfair for him to get the “optimism” nod when Clinton already has a very optimistic/progressive agenda. It might not go quite as far as Sanders’ (for practicality reasons, I’d imagine) but she is still not nearly as pessimistic as her critics like to paint her.

I understand all that. I think my frustration is borne out of the fact that 8 years ago, Clinton was harangued for waiting FOUR DAYS after the final primary to officially concede, and here we are more than a week after DC and he’s still hemming and hawing.

“Sanders was asked on ABC’s “This Week” if he thought his agreements with Clinton outweighed his disagreements.

He’s said he doesn’t want Trump to win.

Optimism is a weird way to describe what he’s done. If anything, I’d say anger was the uniting force behind his campaign. Anger at the system, and then subsequently anger at losing.

He’s clearly not going to win, but my heart goes aflutter when I see Luke. He reminds me of all the wonderful/terrible men of my past (hey husband, I love you!). That little post-credits scene with his manboob sent shivers everywhere.

Yep. I remember liking “Aiden” a decade ago, and had I been pregnant then, it would certainly have been on the shortlist.

Yeah, that sounds awfully tinfoil hat-ish. I’m an NPP voter (though I guess according to your friend in this thread I’m a shill) and when I went to vote on the 7th, the poll workers were like, “Oh, you’re NPP! You can choose from a variety of crossover ballots!” I felt like I was getting the gold star treatment as

He WAS running for President. Now he’s just wasting money in an ego trip for people who can’t get over that he lost. I’m sick of people being sore losers. HE LOST. He is not going to be President.

I think Aidan is on the downswing. I have a 1 year old, and I know a ton of Jacks/Jacksons/Jaxons/Jaxsons (shudder). However, Aidan is hugely popular for kids in the 3-10 age group.

“We’re fighting against too much government spending, unless our guy does it, in which case, it’s peanuts!”

Is he really though? She’s been outright ignoring him for weeks. And the longer he continues this, the more likely the Bernieorbusters are to refuse to fall behind Clinton. He’s not pulling her left anymore.
