10-Year High School Reunion in three weeks. Per my avatar/psuedonym, I've been looking forward to it since I was 17 and bullied mercilessly. Agreed! I keep watching because I've invested so many years into the show, but I end each episode frustrated they're doing the Ross/Rachel with Robin/Ted/Barney and that the jokes just aren't there anymore.

It's not about obscurity. It's about having a name that is inextricably connected to a popular celebrity name. I understand that both aren't completely unusual, they've just not been used to the same degree as Lauren or Jennifer or Ashley or any other name like that in the last 30 years.
