If I were invited to a picnic with FOUR HUNDRED other people that was held months after a formal wedding ceremony, and did not feature any “traditional wedding crap”, I would in no way consider that to be a reception and would feel REALLY weird if gifts were mentioned in any way. The number of invitees alone would

I’ve seen this happen a couple of times in courtrooms. Where family members will have to step in and legal certification for an ASL interpreter is a whole other thing. Even if the family member is a competent ASL interpreter they may not have a solid grasp on what’s happening in a case. Through no fault of their own.

As someone who is currently in school to be an ASL interpreter, this situation is one that happens daily. The only difference is that this one was televised instead of happening in a private doctor’s office or K-12 classroom. Deaf and hard of hearing people deserve qualified and certified interpreters who are held to

For some reason the idea of Woods lurking on a negative post about himself and commenting “I heard he was polite to old people once” as a character defense is making me giggle helplessly.

I’ll add because you’re so ridiculous: one was 20 years ago, the other is a fucking movie. Jeeze. You’ll do anything to defend a gross pig.

Also, Woods is a garbage person. Who cares if you heard that he was nice to people once? Are you dense?

Cool parody, including your use of the “bell rung” dismissal, itself a wholly accurate description of the effect that hit had on his brain inside his skull.

Your irony is impermeable, and infested with disease.

Takeaway: There are some dumb MFers at ESPN. Seriously, one person can’t see the difference between the Lin incident (which involved an unwarranted racial slur - that might have been an accident, sure) and a label (supremacist) ostensibly based on a person’s actual past activities?

My Father was an Air Force Air Mobility Command Officer (Now Retired). I’ll let his email to me speak for itself:

It’s no different than any other game where you can voice chat in private with specific people. In this case, they were invited by the devs for a night out, and talked about the game. Decided they were done with the BS that was going on and went for it. It was pretty ingenious.

Requisite comment: I love reading about Eve, but god damn I never want to play it.

He still clearly views his decision to sexually harass women was a deliberate political move against him.

The problem with food desert’s isn’t access to processed food.

The city’s permanent residents should really adjust to the needs of the casual, pants-pissing visitor.

I don’t get how a 6 pack of toilet paper or a hot bacon egg and cheese on a roll will fit through the vending machine slots.

Sounds like maybe then they could use their fancy algorithms to just make bodegas better (like, maybe, improving their inventory supply chain) instead of just jumping to “use analytics to ruin it for small business owners.”

Aw, hell naw. I love my neighborhood bodegas. Not only can I get my milk, bread, coffee, and other essentials their delis are supes good.

That’s not exactly true. There is real scarcity, and there is perceived scarcity. This was an instance of perceived scarcity creating real scarcity.

Except given how he’s apologised for three racist incidents in a year I don’t think he’s just an idiot.

It was something that I said in the heat of the moment. I said the worst word I could possibly think of, and it just sort of slipped out. I’m not going to make any excuses for why it did”
