why does it seem weird? MS is the largest provider of 3rd party software for Apple. They've been working with them from the beginning. This isn't weird at all. If there was anything weird, it was that they HADN'T come out with this long ago.

I've had a Live ID since before MS owned hotmail (before it was known as a .net passport) and I've never had a problem with it.

yeah, should have differentiated between the two. Needless to say, ANY company offering a product should not do so as a public beta, ESPECIALLY if you have to pay for it.

Bazinga. At least MS doesn't sell products as working beta tests (*AHEM* Siri, Gmail, or anything else G00gle has done...).

If things are ever resold, the original packaging goes a long way in being able to sell it, and usually increases the value. I save packaging for things that could be considered collectible down the road.

It means, you get what you pay for. honestly, I've used the PSN, and having 5 or 6 ADDITIONAL logins to manage in addition to the PSN login for games is completely redic (I'm looking at you, KONAMI ID)
