Not true, they couldn't be on a SONY platform due to the agreement with MS. Nintendo wouldn't budge on the size of the game (it was 52 MB, WIIWARE is capped at 40 MB), so the only viable solution is PC and Xbox360.

dune II was one of (if not the) First RTS games ever made and to this day is still a masterpiece. Westwood studios would later release Command and Conquer. The rest, they say is history.

If it weren't in some way successful, MS wouldn't have continued work on it. Zune is an integral piece of WP7, and the Xbox environment. The hard ware is still being made and will continue to evolve.
