That's actually really decent! Much better than the other GoT intro mashups that have been posted here previously. Hats off to the Pixel Kingdom!

I think it's only underrated by the sneery internet crowd. Pretty sure most people loved the crap out of it, me included.
You might ask why the hell would someone do this
Personally I wouldn't play Splatoon because its been made by people who apparently did nothing but play Mario Sunshine for 11-12 years and than had an *ahem* 'eureka' moment.
I'd rather a 'gamey' version of something like this. Trackball/keyboard combo seems like the best idea. You could just have a USB slot on either side of the keyboard that connects flush with the USB trackball section, so you could have it left or right handed. Then it just needs some gel cushioning on the base to…
Making it a guy is creative while a girl is uncreative? Is that what you're saying?
I don't really think that's the same argument, and I don't think you do either. For the record, I loved Wind Waker's style and wished we'd had a new edition of OoT with the same.
Oh wow, I don't even own a Wii U yet and I'm going to have to get that Peach one (do they come with a Wiimote too?), that's awesome!
Even if it was woven into the story, how could it possibly not offend? Oh no, Link's a girl now! He's...what? Lacking something? Gaining something? That's some dangerous territory you're entering.
Regardless, he's not a girl in the trailer. He's just young and drawn differently than usual.
Yeah now I know you're full of shit if you think that means equality. Move over suffragettes, Tobias is here to change pixelated schlongs into vaginas. It's equality.
Actually, I believe it's called Indiana Jones. It's kind of gone full-circle on that one, although with the newer iterations she's certainly come into her own.
Glad it was clear. And for the record, if they did make that change, I wouldn't 'cry an ocean on the internet', I'd just be disappointed they couldn't be more creative, and hope that the game itself is decent despite that. A grown-up concept for you, I realise.
Your assumption based on?
I did give you reasons:
I have to say, as a guy, I've never 'related' to Link. I'm just helping him complete his quest.
Those women who aren't LoZ fans then. Women don't want every character to be a woman. I think a Zelda game where you play Zelda would be preferable.
You're clearly just trying to argue for the sake of arguing here. Link is a guy. He may be reincarnated each time, but he's still a guy, and Zelda is still a girl. To gender swap either of them would just be a stunt. It's lazy slash fiction and I'm not sure why you think that's defensible. If it doesn't bother you,…
I dunno I think 2001 is a bit of a contender.
Yes, yes it would. Should Darth Vader be a girl? Or Optimus Prime? Or any character you've grown up loving? C'mon what can we fuck with?
There are already cool girl characters in the Zelda franchise, they just need their own games. You don't have to turn everything upside down just to get your jollies.
Or he just looks like a younger Link than "Adult Link". He looks very much 'coming of age' for a Japanese cartoon. He looks no more a girl than Ash from Pokemon does.
