I appreciate what they are trying to mix up the formula, but doesn't it take the magical mystery away from these items if they are available in a shop? I mean...why bother having the Hero of Time? Anyone with enough rupees can apparently get hold of these magical objects that allow them to tackle a dungeon!

More than Half-Life 3, I would've loved to have seen some of the stuff that ended up on the cutting-room floor for Half-Life 2:

Just to bring up a nice modern one:

IX. Always IX. And then never play any other Final Fantasy games again.

They may very well be capable of emotions, but they aren't something you or I are necessarily equipped to quantify.

I suspect you're trying to be condescending, but you realise you can respect and understand a species without trying to assign human emotions or roles to it, right?

I appreciate a good counter theory. However (and both sides will no doubt be guilty of this), we shouldn't mistake smart to mean human.

It's that clear is it? Because it was clear to me, that the 'comedian' was referring to her as 'it' while directing her about the stage, not making any kind of joke.

Or you you could, you know, refer to them by name? "Hi, what's your name? ok, well Laura, if you'd like to come over here.."

It moves the traditional AXBY face buttons to the center of the controller, all four surrounding a small touchscreen.

F, because symmetry. The others are nice, but don't look like they belong.

The Ouya controller is nothing but a joypad. And last I checked, Valve aren't a Kickstarted company.

Of course I don't, but it's Valve, and their track record is exemplary. So, by commenting in negative absolutes you are commenting as if in a pure vacuum, because you're talking as if Valve just fell off the turnip truck.

I actually suspect this company is pretty disgustingly using marketing speak to imply a link with Valve, Steam and Steam boxes, where none actually exists.

I think people are looking at it wrong. The mistake here is they labelled the centre four buttons X, Y etc, so people think of them as being used as the same face buttons on a traditional gamepad. Look at the portal 2 example layout on their page though, Those buttons aren't used for anything you'd need to be a

I would guess so, as it has concentric circles on the pad, which denote distance from the centre.

It's on the Steam announcement page
