Remember that JRPG, Fallout? Good times.

Having seen the trailer, I was going to say "platform adventure with turn-based battles". JRPG? Really? That's some broad strokes your painting, there.
I appreciate there is more than one forest in Japan, however this site is Kotaku - not forest appreciation.com. Therefore, the reason it's on here is because of the Mononoke connection, not just because it's got lovely trees.
Sony and Nintendo have always been Japan-first. MS is a whole different ball-game. You can bet the reasons Sony aren't doing Japan first are different to why MS wouldn't.
Guy here. I read a few of these while they were still going, and yeah I thought Jess was ok, even if she did overanalyze things a bit (but then that's going to happen if you make it your mission to document everything right?), but yes Tim was a total fucking dick. Quite apart from his general treatment of Jess, and…
Nope not at all. I suspect these are the result of people messing with stuff, as I don't remember an N64 glitching on anything...well, ever.
But why shouldn't the game be criticised? It's charging a monthly sub for things that other games do better, and free. It's also not doing anything new - it's all been done before. Aren't those legitimate criticisms? Should it get a free pass incase it brings down the ire of Final Fantasy fans?

Arg, sorry mate if you got there first. I had a look down and couldn't see it!
Been saying this for a while. I have a ton of games on my Amazon wishlist for my PS3 to get, and I'm not by any means behind either. The oldest thing on my list is The Last of Us.
As much as I dislike the prequels, I have to say I thought the politics were pretty straight forward. Which part was giving you trouble?
It, and the Castle of Illusion HD game are great if you a) love Disney and b) love the original games. When compared to modern games, they can seem frustrating.
