Alexis Morell Carrington Colby Dexter Rowan would approve.

The current business model in the music industry isn’t hurt people like Prince, Madonna, and Jay Z nearly as much as it’s hurting people like Aloe Blacc. His song, “I Need A Dollar” has streamed millions of times, but has only earned him $4,000.

If the really wealthy, successful artists would use their power to give a

That sounds about right.

Karrine’s remarks about Fetty Wap/college/”Danger” video are all so ironic to me. She’s suggesting that enjoying Fetty Wap should be a terrifying experience, and anyone old enough would enjoy college instead.

There’s a certain amount of self-awareness with this movie. It’s as if they know of the Liz Taylor/Richard Burton comparisons, and are playing off that. Even with all their supposed glamour in Hollywood terms, they still appear to be a stable, sober couple.

Agreed. And I think that holding up ideals such as empowerment, equality, and equity mean that people who benefit from those ideals may be people we don’t like or support things we don’t like. We have to reconcile with that.

I run into the same level of anxiety as well. I love getting dressed. But the various kinds of events I get invited to all year round force me to be very creative. “AND NO MARKING!”

What do you need clarity about? I touched on several different ideas, so forgive me for lack of structure.

Because, really, this was for us. Not for Nicki. It’s summer time, and the fuccbois are lookin’ like baes. Gotta be careful though. They think they’ve hooked a good one. Come fall, you can’t get rid of their ass.

I will second your vote of descension. I have been rooting for Meek and Nicki. Aside from their physical attraction, it seems like at least they both have a love for the music. I imagine they talk about writing and hip hop with one another in an authentic way. And that, I think is suited to Nicki Minaj. It’s like

It seems like Drake does that with nearly every woman he meets: Nicki, Rihanna, Serena Williams, that girl he met at Lennox Square...

He’s a solid rapper. I wouldn’t put my money on him, but he’s solid. I get the impression that “meekness” is to underestimate him. So when he brings the proverbial fiyah, you’re surprised.
