This reminds me of writing.com, but more social-web-ish. You review other people's work, and then a couple people review yours. The problem is that the reviews you get on any online writing community are usually short and not particularly helpful. I don't blame them, though. Who has time to give random people lengthy…
Clipsync.com is yet another video site, but this one lets you watch videos with others at the same time and chat about it in a chat room while you watch it. Useful? Maybe, maybe not. But they get points for originality. What do you guys think?
Hey, some of those videos are sort of educational, too! Like uh... the one that teaches you how to do the moonwalk. Very educational. :D
TagJag.com is a similar site, but it's somewhat buggy for me.
Interesting review. I'm not sure which I like best, since I haven't uploaded any videos yet.
I don't know of a website like that, but it would be pretty cool! I get lots of random ideas for sites and programs, too, but I know almost nothing about programming. I'm sure lots of other people are in the same boat.
Wow, the guy in that TechTalk had an awesome idea! They should use online games to generate useful data more often. Then we wouldn't feel as bad when we waste so much time playing them!
I know Lifehacker did a post about the Google Desktop sidebar. I'd like to see a little review of a similar program called Desktop Sidebar. Both have similar features, but Desktop Sidebar has more plug-ins. Then again, I've heard that the sidebar from Google is better. Which do you think is better?
I agree with phantomdata: acquiring a British accent is definitely the first step.
Yay, I feel loved! :D You're welcome.
I wouldn't be able to be actively involved in more than one or two social networking sites — they'd drive me insane! Right now I visit 43 Things somewhat often, and that's really the only one. Blogs, IMs, MMORPGs and forums are enough as it is!
I'm not a programmer, but that does look useful! I'll have to save it for later. :)
Be life-savvy.
I'll be doing NaNoWriMo for the first time this year, now that I'm on a year off from school! :) I have no idea what I'm going to write about, but that's OK; I'm planning to just jump in and see what happens.
I'd like some advice on how to choose a web host for my first "real" website. For someone who has only used free web hosts in the past for small personal sites, the huge number of web hosts out there is overwhelming!
I've been using Paint.NET for a while, and I love it! And thanks for sharing that video, Greg — that was pretty cool. :)
Nice video! I learned how to juggle (with 2, 3, and 4 balls) a couple years ago, just out of boredom, and I'm still having fun with it! Right now I'm working on juggling 5 balls, and this video reminded me that it's nothing more than a few basic elements put together. Thanks!
Funny, but not useful. I love how people will spend so much time doing things like this just to provide us with a few minutes of entertainment. :D I love the internet.
Useful! :) Never even knew about that.
