I got FarCry 3 on PC six months ago and I still can't play it. Ubisofts line was basically "Well sorry dude, you have a combination of hardware our game doesn't like, fuck you. Also steam so no refunds mwa ha ha ha ha ha" If it's taught me anything, its that waiting a week for a patch is no big deal.

I like the way you think.

Much as I love Nintendo and shamelessly throw money at them time and again I do feel like it's getting very close to the time when it's only right that I slowly lead them out behind the barn and put a merciful bullet between their eyes. There's no point to this thing, surely the demographic of people who go "hmm I

They can have all my monies for them! But seriously SEGA don't know a cash cow when it shits on their desks.

It's no use trying to analyse the what's and whys of this situation. It's plausible that an impressionable child playing a game designed for people more than double his age might just be inspired to mimic said game. Now most kids I know (I'm in England btw) would make a gun out of two fingers or a stick and shout bang

Go to GOG.com and buy Icewind Dale. 1-5 of your mates round and bring their PC's or laptops (seriously we did this every week back in the day). Install the game on all 5 systems. Start a LAN game with all 6 of you controlling 1 char each. Thank me in about 35 hours time.

Yes you should play Windwaker. It's a stunning and transcendent experience and it's ever so satisfying to play. Combat is fluid and puzzle solving is reminiscent of the Zelda games of yore. Twilight Princess has its moments but the world feels somehow dead compared to OoT which it tries to ape in terms of art design

Thank you for making me read that in Troy's voice. I'm sad now, and if you don't know why, shame on you. :(

Minority Report: Everybody Runs was a damn fine game. I would extrapolate but it's midnight, I'm drunk and tired and can't be bothered. If you played it and liked it, good isn't it? If you played it and hated it, meh, you're entitled to your own opinion. If you didn't play it, you MUST have a console that'll run some

Lol Heaven benchmark makes my EVGA 590ST classifieds figuratively open one eye, shrug and go back to sleep.

Isn't that Jeremy Clarkson?

A good gameplay trailer gives you a reasonable glimpse of the way the game looks and feels. And this doesn't look and feel like Final Fantasy. It looks like Final Fantasy for the casual gamer and the MMO stat whore.

Looks good in its own right, but its so far departed from Final Fantasy that it makes me a little bit sad. It's not the charming, whimsical and emotional journey that made me love FF to begin with. This is dumbing down, pure and simple.

How about they scrap the current Sonic 4 and make a PROPER sonic 4, follow the old cannon, scrap the new characters, call Eggman, Robotnik again, you know, make a GOOD sonic game. Generations was amazing, but it was a nostalgia trip. I want to play a sonic game that feels like the originals, looks like them and sounds

This dude has a point, this is (as far as I'm aware) our first ever look at the map.

That's sexy, I'd buy that.

Oh god, right now there's an advertising exec jizzing his pants because he can use a montage of people of all shapes and colours saying "I am the one!"

Microsoft would do very well to re-consider backwards compatibility even at this late stage. Even if its in the form of a peripheral, I don't want to have yet another console under my TV, my non current gen consoles live in a cupboard and only come out when needed but my xbox 360 library is so huge and regularly

It looks like an early 2000 Dell laptop.

So its a dystopian big robot JRPG with action shooter mechanics, robot dragons, some form of intermingling love story set in a world seen differently by various types of people a la Syndicate and an allusion to a weird mechanic where presumably the numbers above peoples heads have something to do with their remaining
