Starfields biggest issue is it feels like an early 2000's RPG stretched VERY thinly in a modern universe with modern-ish graphics. If it had come out say, 10 years ago as a PS4/PC/Xbox it would have quickly shot to the top of the sales charts and stayed there but people want more from their games these days.
