We really need to close whatever loophole let’s you write off already completed (and most of the time aired!) projects as tax write offs. What.

On the Distraction podcast (from Defector) with Adam Conover as guest where he goes into it. Michael Schur was on a few weeks before, but the sentiment is the same. The people in charge now, the investor class, don’t give a shit about the product. They care about maximizing revenues and profits. These aren’t movie/TV

How dare Disney Plus copy the HBO Max model of stripping streaming content!

Agreed. And by “space race” you mean the thing we won over 60 years ago, right?

Diversity at NASA was literally how we got there in the first place.

“So I hope NASA will continue its tradition of staying out of those battles,” he added.

What good is winning the space race if we don’t have a liveable planet to return to?

I haven’t been following the current run (I was a Slott reader and stopped reading monthly after Superior, although I caught up later), aside from the ire of fans and the admittedly funny anger at Paul.

I agree, but in the defence of the streaming services, there is a certain amount of dodginess to the fact that D&D has black-skinned “dark” elves who are a civilization of evil CHUDs... and also light-skinned “normal” elves.

Cool! FOMO!

Warframe, sure. WoW, sure. Both are all over the place.

god i hate battle passes. You pay money so you can earn rewards for having time to play the game, and you can pay more money to spend less time playing the game. All to get rewards that anyone who doesn’t purchase the pass in that moment may never get

Damn...the comparisons to Destiny 2 are not great since I hate how they handle delivering narrative that exists while the “year” is active and then disappears forever. I’ll have to read more into it to see if the additional narrative/whatever content actually sticks around, because if not that potentially kills a lot

Now I’m worried they’ll vault the story content. Honestly, while I’m not much for Destiny 2, that’s what prevents me from even bothering to go back to see what’s changed.

The thing is, when a show is made for adults, they’ll usually understand when something like this is satirical. Like, the point was 1) Chang is dressed up as a Dark Elf and 2) he looks like he’s in blackface but isn’t. That’s not hard to grasp. I don’t really have a problem with a content warning being added just to

If you're gonna play Switch on the bus, use your damn headphones.

I mean, why else would he be riding the bus?

(could also be a lot of places in Australia have perfectly fine and functional public transport, which is convenient to use and a lot cheaper than paying for parking)

Dreadwolf has great writers onboard, including many old Bioware/Dragon Age hats. I would hope this whole turnaround from live service crap back to single-player focus means the ship is righted.

A quick search on Youtube shows people talking about the game.
