I’m just going to put this out there, Square are not a good publisher. They really cannibalise their studios and have unrealistic performance expectations. They really don’t support their teams and with the exception of a handful of games they don’t seem to care about properties.

Was his behavior hurting people? Probably not so much. The guy had been labeled more of a clown than anything else. His real sin was causing bad press for Valve. You can’t keep doing that to your business partner and expect that relationship to remain.

You seem to be missing the entire problem.

The concept of being post-scarcity means that everybody’s physical needs are met. Everybody has food, shelter, and medical care. You do not have to work simply to keep yourself alive.

That’s the absolute truth. It’s like Netflix’s Cowboy Bebop. I’m in the two percent of people that actually enjoyed it, but it seemed like half the people said it strayed too far from the source material and the other half said it was too similar therefore what was the point in making it.

I like Pedro Pascal and all but if it’s just gonna be shot for shot recreations of the cutscenes, I don’t really get who this is gonna be for. To this day I think the Assassin’s Creed movie did it best by having it do it’s own thing and tell a story set in the world rather than adapting a game’s plot verbatim while…

Stupid question: Why isn’t Swatting treated like attempted murder? I mean, the whole purpose of Swatting is to send armed-to-the-teeth police to a place where they think there is an active shooter or some such. The outcome of which is probably someone getting shot or killed.

100%. The clip in question is not great, but this is way overblown. The pile-on this game is getting feels really disingenuous from a lot of corners. 

Yeah, like the trailer is pretty cringey, but half the commenters here have decided that quips are the devil and it portends the end of pop-culture and something something Marvel.

......It looks like a fun game. Amusing. Doesn’t take itself too seriously.

Yeah, I know everyone is entitled to their opinion and that’s fine, but I honestly don’t see a goddamn thing wrong with this trailer. It’s no cheesy than any other trailer I see out there.
