I don’t understand why this is such a huge conversation. It’s equivalent to tracing and should be treated that way. Meaning it has uses, nice for learning, inspiration, and personal stuff. It’s plagiarism if used for a final product.
There’s no ethical conundrum. We already have a model of what it means.
