While you're right they all stand a good chance of re-election, it won't be because of gerrymandering. Everyone gets to vote on their state's 2 senators. Gerrymandering will help to keep all those House Republicans in office though!

I think a lot of people travel twice for the holidays. I did a couple years of not traveling for Thanksgiving which was easier to convince the family about because I had a SO. Now there are no excuses! Especially since I'm a grad student and I technically get the time off. Although I've known people who've had parents…
I think the analogy of Reddit as enabler is probably the best way of thinking about it. People often have many enablers, and getting rid of one is unlikely to fix the real problem. At the same time, if you can stop someone from hurting themselves or others by removing an enabler, then why shouldn't you?
This is fair. Part of why its important to that group today has to do with its past. But that's really a complaint about the website rather than the community. It's fair to push for websites to monitor themselves, but we have to recognize that this community will always exist in some form or another. Even if we could…
I was planning on commenting at some point too that Reddit isn't a single monolith community.
lololol, now I'm either being trolled or you aren't a programmer.
sudo get trolled?
I used to think that it was just that kids weren't thinking about the long-term, or that they were acting impulsively. It wasn't until a few years ago that despite growing up with the internet all around them, they don't fundamentally understand what it is or how it works.
Jez could improve itself so much if it would just spend more time on things like this. I loves you Laura, but I wish this could be a full article instead of some bullshit reporting about "Sleepless in Austin" dude!
A sandbox is just one kind of MMO. What you're thinking of as "MMO" would count as a themepark MMO.
"JAAACK! GET OFF YOUR DAMN CAVEBOX360 AND DO SOMETHING CREATIVE FOR A CHANGE!"
This article definitely reminds me of being in a college that tried to get on the Ruckus.com thing. It took days before someone had a program to strip the music files of their DRM. You couldn't even really call it hacking, it was downloading a program and hitting run.
Oh my god the cartel packs. I could never bring myself to buy them, or pay any money for the cartel coins in the first place. But damn if I didn't know otherwise intelligent people who spent ridiculous amounts on those things. EA definitely knows how to apply the psychology on that stuff. Hopefully they'll use the…
Cardboard gundams take a lot of work!
OMG, disgruntled grad student lego packs for everyone
Bronze gears are cheating!
If your computer isn't running on wooden cogs, what are you doing with your life?
This is my feeling about West Coast IPAs. The ones out east tend to be pretty balanced.
I mean, there's a reason we call it vanilla. Everyone loves it! Of course, some people prefer their specialty flavor, but when you don't know what you want, who doesn't end up having vanilla and loving it!
It's also not working for me and I'm in the states.
