I still think that Cadillac should launch this exactly as-is in late 2015 as a - wait for it - 2016 model year. And the Ciel too.

So happy to hear he got his FJ and his dog back! Awesome news, thanks for the follow-up. :)

Awesome. But I wanna see the outtakes reel :)

Nomination for Hoon of the day. Definitely intentional. Hell I do that in the Toyota 86 when it rains. Also - video voice over - anger management classes needed.

She's a long way from new, but the 1959 Cadillac made the perfect Santa's Sleigh today - in the Middle East no less :)

I live in that part of the world ;-)

Me too - but I couldn't afford an Eldorado!

Definitely miss the days of luxury cars having elaborate names... At least Rolls Royce still does it with the Phantom and Ghost etc... but Cadillac - what happened? "Sedan DeVille" is now essentially just "XTS" - reads more like a part number than a name, and with it takes away a big chunk of the character and charm

Or you know, you could work hard and buy them legitimately. Those abandoned ones could be picked up for cheap but will need a lot of work usually. Mine came from a much more loving home though, so I get to focus on the upgrades rather than restoration. :-)

Attention Cadillac, what you need to be focussing on is launching the Cadillac Sixteen in 2016. Simple.

Absolutely yes - but after massaging the fenders and bumpers to give it a striking resemblance to a Porsche 959, and finishing it off with a Rothmans paint job.

Miatas well have both then. Still cheaper than a model S! Still got my Miata and now daily driving the Toyota 86. They are different machines. Both brilliant.

DB5 no doubt about it.

As someone who dreams of one day travelling to the states and retracing Route 66 - I wouldn't bitch about a long road trip :)

There's NOTHING boring about a '57 Bel Air. My wish list includes a '57 Bel Air Convertible, a '57 Bel Air 2 Dr Hard Top, and a '57 Chevy Nomad. Matching Colours. LOVE that body style and side cladding.

I actually didn't bring it over - it used to belong to a friend of mine who left the country. I bought it from him a few months before he left. However my 1982 FJ-45 Land Cruiser Pick Up was imported in from the neighbouring country Oman, and that was a bit of a nightmare. Basically the car has to pass all the visual

They're pretty common around here... my other cars have 'em too ;-)

Awesome ride my friend - excellent choice :)

:-) Got a few things to pay off before I can part with that kind of money... but when that's done, it's on the list :)

If only... 90% would just be instagram photos of cheap meals...
