That sort of money gets you a reasonably tidy looking proper 4th Gen '61-'69 Continental... which would be the obvious choice...

I just can't wait for them to stop doing the Tonight Show and start doing full-length episodes on each one of his cars. The knowledge and history on each one could easily fill a 30-45 minute time-slot, and the number of cars in his collection would give enough material for years :)

Re-launch the '67 Lincoln Continental. Can be a modern styling interpretation like Cadillac pulled off with the Ciel (why the hell is that not in production!?) but keep it tasteful and clear relationship to the original. It needs to have the same presence. It needs to have the same proportions. It needs to have the

Friend posted up on FB the other day - "Dreams only work if you do." - good luck working for that dream :)

Thank you :) It's good to have a goal and work for it... That, and the 4 door hard tops are much more affordable than you might think... a fraction of what a 2 door Eldorado Convertible goes for, and they're also more user friendly for a night out with friends. :)

So why exactly has Car And Driver decided to make their videos not available in the UAE??

I hate that it's not even offered in the Middle Eastern market... and news like this means it probably never will be... Will be looking for a used one at some point in the future to ship over here! They'll probably be collectables one day... so it may hold it's value better... not that economy and resale are any

Have to agree... wanted mine since I was 9 years old. Took a long time but finally get to say the red one in this picture is mine! From a design point of view, I'm not sure anything else is quite so iconic. Symbolic of both an era and a country. Featured in movies and music videos and artwork...

In addition to Promoted by's comments - what I respect about Jay Leno is that he uses his car collection regularly and maintains them... as a result he's helping to preserve not only the vehicles but the skill-set that built them in the first place. If people don't use them, they don't break them, there's no need to

Agreed :)

Well yeah - they'll do that! Not clever to use them on the street! Definitely an off road only thing. :) That overhead white one will seriously cause temporary blindness...

Rigid Industries off road LED Light bars - turns night into day in the desert and I absolutely love it.

JW Speaker 5-3/4" LED Headlamps on the classic '59 Cadillac... I can finally see :)

Crane operator always has the option of pulling down hard on the handles and sending the camera up and over the car, as he should have done here. Once committed to a drift like that, there's very little the driver can do to stop or avoid that camera...

Jeep J12 Pick up - don't necessarily have to build it forever, just build it to start with!

1933 Duesenberg. Again, like the '59 Cadillac, cars will never be this awesome again.

Also - FJ45 Toyota. Again Icon4x4 will sort you out here.

Also - Bronco. No explanation needed. And thanks to the likes of www.icon4x4.com you can sort-of still get one in better-than-new shape.

The 1959 Cadillac. Cars will never again be this visually awesome and ridiculous and that's a damn shame.

Agreed.
