@ManchuCandidate: I'm not saying we're innocent. :) We probably did all the things that led to the sentient bacterial war aganst the bees. Actually I am quite sad that our pursuit of super crops has made life difficult for bees. I love watching them buzz aboutbthe flowers, especially the honey bees with the orange

So the mysterious problems bees have been facing must be some sort of semi-sentient bacterial war against them.

I'm thinking about starting to read it this weekend, after much praise from my sister. Perhaps this is a kick in the pants for my endeavror? I know I'll at least like it, but as with A Game if Thrones, I'd like to read the source material before it becomes a show. I didn't do that for Neverwhere and I think it would

@Jesse_Astle: It looks like 9:00 pm mountain time on my cable pvr display for HBO Canada. Then the episode repeats right after it.

@GORNMagazine: And then Starbuck is a weird angel and everything ends in a way that even tortures us, the viewers. And yes the characters do suffer a lot, from the physical to the emotional. Cancer, losing an eye, and of course, everyone being married to the wrong people. :) spot on.

@sollipse: Even someone sitting on a couch has wants. Maybe the want is to avoid getting up. Wanting to die? To keep living? To eat some Cheetos? Slam some Mountain Dew?

@t3knomanser: This may seem cheesy, but, you have to believe in yourself. So let's look at it this way: do you like writing? If so, you can overcome these things. Besides, you have to write for yourself, for your own enjoyment. And as time goes along, your enjoyment translates into good writing. Espeically with

@t3knomanser: If no one cared, they'd all lie around in bed and die of starvation and dehydration. Character biographies can be useful. Why is it a threat? Does the character agree, or just eliminate the threat because he doesn't want to go to sensitivity training to learn to respect the orders of the big boss?

I liked that bit about it being more fun when characters don't get what they want. Frustration makes for comedy and daring action.

@Erwin: I like eating at places where I can see into the kitchen, personally. If they're hiding, it might be shady. I always fear what pubs do in the confines of those kitchens, but the pints seem to make me overcome that every time. :)

@FrankN.Stein: Modern food production in factories is quite horrific. Slurries and pastes are not the same as ground meat.

Fish guts. Is there anything they can't do?

Okay here's a random thought...what the new new force is repulsion? Or anti-gravity?

@queensowntalia: That's why I don't vote, I just love the social reactions as the loyalty to the creator of something outstrips the individual film.

Okay, so I need a space suit, jet pack, and a ship willing to leave me at the top and meet me at the bottom. I'll start saving up now.

It sounds great for electronics, but I'm wondering about the larger implications as well. Imagine it in factory settings, in delivering power, or any place where heat can burn out parts and cause outages or work stoppages.

@Palmer: Well, not the banged up Mumm-Ra but maybe the super powered one. But I like him voicing anyone called the Destroyer :)

If it's reported again next week, then we can get excited. If Bladerunner wins the March movie madness thing, we can be doubly excited. Not that I'm getting involved in the voting, that's like getting between a lion and a tigerntrying toneat the same chunk of meat

@Ruthless if you let me: We've become a very laid back people, sadly. Or happily, since sitting around and feasting makes us more appealing than the old way of "mess with us and we burn down your village." :)
