LandofMinos: ...sent down to strike the unroadworthy!
LandofMinos

A modernized version of that straight six is still in use today in the current Falcon. And some versions make over 400HP

You'd have to question the integrity of any publication or news outlet that gives a broad voice to Neidermayer.

Normally when I read a comment like yours, I come back in defense of Jalopnik saying that although it's not car related, it can be of interest to the average rev-head.

I'd give her a thoroughly good F-Type... Has she ever been filmed in a raunchy X-Type?

QUICK BEFORE IT'S TOO LATE... Somebody find this guy and have him neutered.

Don't mind me, I just came here to get some sleep.

It was the monkey's fault! He didn't indicate and merged recklessly. Bears are susceptible to road rage and monkey ought to have known that.

I want to vote 'buzzworthy' as the most insidious word of 2013.

I wonder what kind of practical jokes we could play on users of these pods?

Yep they certainly do... It's called the "Xerox room."

An official British royal state car that's not a Rolls, a Bentley or even a classic Daimler? Are they going broke or something? Whats with the lowly prime minister spec Jaguar?

After the GTHO, there was a media induced supercar scare in 1972 where the government threatened to start legislating new laws to stop this horsepower war between Ford, Holden and Chrysler. So the car makers stood back a bit and killed off their future specials. Such as the 454 big block Holden GTS and 426ci cobra-jet

I'm guessing that this being a Ferrari, there was about $10,000 worth of damage done on that little jump.

As a kid I never liked the Beetle. It looked too poxy and weird. But as a bribe to get me to finish high school, my dad promised to buy me a car. To my horror, he bought me a Beetle.

The model after that is this one; The homologation special, XY GTHO Phase 3. This was the world's fastest four door sedan in 1971. It is now the most prized Aussie muscle car out there, a good example worth over 1 million USD.

Somebody told me there's something similar on aircraft wheels. I'm guessing that's another thing to watch out for.

Now playing

Apparently street legal 55 Chevy with a Merlin V12 from a WW2 Spitfire fighter plane. Built by some crazy Aussie Rod Hadfield... Nothing more to say, just watch...

Use it to make a mould for a race car shell.

We used to have a ZH Fairlane when I was a kid. First thing I remember about it was how smooth it was. It was the only Aussie car built where the V8 was the only option. 302ci as standard, 351ci optional on the 500 and standard on the Marquis.

Again I say: Car shows ought to have a bit of closed off road at the exit of the show where show goers can do their little burnout, have their last sideways hurrah, impress a few people including police. Everyone leaves leaves the show happy, except the guys who overcook it into a barrier or gutter.
