haha how timely! I am in my first semester of grad school for psychology now. Today (in my Child Psychopathology class, mind you, so none of these things really could apply to me now—I'm 25), I diagnosed myself with Reading Disorder and Math Disorder. Because, you know, some of the things he said were totally true!

I never played with dolls. Having babies never interested me. The whole idea that girls are worse at math than boys is stereotype threat. And human beings are wired to empathize. That is how we evolved socially to have giant societies and work together.

@BettaBee: Yeah, this really bothered me as well. I used to volunteer at a rape crisis center and this was sorta one of the child sexual abuse alerts.

Ok, the Adventures in Babysitting one really set off an alert in me like....girls that young should not know about things like that. It seriously concerned me and made me think that they have been sexually abused. I am pretty upset about that one.
