Here's something nobody wants to admit: none of the characters in the BOOKS made smart decisions either.  It was always hamfisted, right from the damn start.

This gif will never get old.

Variety of colors and styles, as well as dual wielding, was in KOTOR.  More importantly though, KOTOR was the first game that went into the lore behind lightsabers, their crystals, building them, etc.  That alone should warrant its inclusion here.

Ccounterpoint: The VAST majority of PS2 games do not hold up and are not worth playing for anyone who doesn’t already have nostalgia for them.

Show of hands for people who would voluntarily turn down $50k a day "on principle."  I'll never understand that.

I’ve always been so torn on Inquisition. I really liked the characterizations and colorful world, but I found most of the rest of the gameplay (exploration, combat, etc.) to be pretty bland and pretty much the worst kind of checklist-style open world stuff. It’s a game that I just never find myself wanting to go back

Just $15 more to go before it hits the price range that I'm willing to spend on video games!

I’m with you one hundred percent.  They chose literally all of the safest possible deaths, all characters whose narrative arcs had already basically come to a neat conclusion.  They needed to pull at least one Red Wedding style death where the character’s arc wasn’t neatly wrapped up, but rather was violently severed

Correct me if I’m wrong, but isn’t a huge part of this problem the fact that the insane costs associated with healthcare in this country cause so many people to forego the kind of regular preventative care that might help mitigate some of these more serious life-threatening problems down the line?  How would her

Ah, Blackjack.  A game where “strategy” is so heavily offset by luck that it’s nearly always a losing proposition.  Should have sat in on a poker table instead.

Does it come with chocolate at least?

“There has to be some sort of acceptable medium where we give students the skill of reading and writing in it without spending hundreds of hours on it.”

We should not be equating penmanship/cursive with calligraphy. The whole point of cursive is not to look pretty (which is the point of calligraphy,) but to enable people to write more quickly and fluidly.

And here I am having started Final Fantasy VII over a dozen times in the past several years (never having played it when it originally came out) and getting bored enough to give up on it right around the time you make it to the main world map, pretty much every time.  This game just doesn’t click with me, sadly.

This should have been $20 right out of the gate, given how superficial the updates were.  That said, I still bought it at full price because Dark Souls.

It’s worth noting that the amount of “Stop Having Fun” Guys is probably pretty directly proportional to the the amount of “Gives Too Much of a Shit about What Internet Randos Think” Guys on the other side of the spectrum. Both sides are contributing to what is perhaps the the dumbest gaming argument I’ve seen in quite

Frankly, I think Dragon Age Inquisition is one of the most over-rated games of this entire console generation. I’m not confident in the current Bioware producing any “magic” in whatever form Dragon Age 4 ends up taking.

Yeah, I was gonna say, he frankly looks healthier in the before picture, by no means out of shape.

Sounds like the problem isn't so much that the content is offensive, but rather that it's hamfisted and obvious, to the point of near absurdity in its quest to be socially and politically relevant.  That's just plain bad writing.

A bottle of wine per week seems like a very small amount.
