And not even that long ago! I tried watching that movie when I was a kid (probably about 13) and I had to turn it off before this was even over. I watched it again this year but skipped the parts with him because it's so upsetting.
Ohh good, I agree :)
Maybe you could write it on google docs or something so it saves automatically? Oh man that really sucks. I wish you luck!!
Mine are also bright orange! It really brightens my day.
Felicity was AWESOME! And I always cried when her mom made that blue dress for her. American Girl books are awesome. I had Molly and always identified with her most even though she was kind of bratty (but I guess I was too). I think I liked that she learned how to grow out of her brattiness. I hope little girls are…
You are absolutely right. Nobody gets to decide how their mental disorder will manifest itself. Compulsive shopping is all too common and we have a billion examples of how "cute" it is to drop thousands of dollars in a time of crisis. Retail therapy and shopaholics and whatnot. But as you've stated, it can get really…
A. Someone recently told me that I needed to stop shaming myself. She said to pretend as though my inner voice were directed at someone else and to imagine how that person would feel. If I wouldn't treat someone that way, I shouldn't treat myself that way. It's really hard to implement but I think it's helpful to take…
I'm 22 and everyone thinks I'm 16. I am terrified of looking old (I'm already going gray, so it's a weird combination of baby face and grandma hair). But everyone in my family looks 15 years younger than their age (my dad is 69 and nobody would ever guess) so it's very possible that you just have bby jeanz like we do.…
Mad Men 5 came on Netflix today!
I'm in a similar situation now and it's reached embarrassing levels. I came across this the other day and it helped a bit: http://thoughtcatalog.com/2013/procrastination-is-not-laziness/
I was just revisiting Little Women! It is SO good. I have just begun to realize how much my childhood books influenced me, and it really made me grateful to have had Jo March as a role model.
I am also a fan of the Nike Frees. They are comfortable, hold up well, and come in fun colors. I am a terrible and awkward runner and they don't make me look any worse.
Haha yes. I wonder if that's where Robert California's name came from (that might be stupid of me. I'd never heard of Richard Florida before). Either way it doesn't sound real.
Thank you for explaining this. You should have written the article...
The other day a guy I know asked why I always wear my hair up in a bun. I thought we were going to have a conversation about topknots and how men hate them. I said that I put it up because I'm too lazy to deal with it and he said, "Lazy? It just seems like it's a lot of effort to twist it up like that!" What do you…
My favorite new thing that's been happening (in addition to people coughing up phlegm in the sink and leaving vom unflushed) is that people will turn the lights off while I'm still in the stall. I live in a dorm hall with about 10 other girls and many of them do this on a daily basis. It's so disconcerting! And it…
It blows my mind that schools think they have to admit underqualified boys (men?) in order to keep it equal. They've been given the same opportunities to succeed that their female classmates have been given, so there's no reason to give them an institutional advantage.
Oh god just to clarify, I mean in terms of myself, not that your body makes me sick!
That made me want to throw up, but it was very helpful so thank you!
