Yeah, Eggbeaters is the product that this could best replace from an environmental and culinary standpoint, and at a price-point that high, it’s hard to know how many vegans and those with egg sensitivities will opt for this rather than what they’re currently already doing.

I’d be happy with an easter egg or two—a newspaper with a story about what Marta’s done with the publishing company or something.

Yeah, I’m not sure the collective awesomeness of Elliot, Mulaney, Porter, Driver, and Ranganathan is enough to offset how much I cannot stand that man.

Team Palladium here. Her production team knew the rules when they booked the venue. Although I wonder if they did this secretly so she’d get her butt on stage sooner than later?

My guess is they have some sort of internal metric that x seconds counts as “viewed” and somebody’s (or an entire division’s) evaluations depend on maxing out number of titles viewed.

It’s been years since I’ve seen season one, but basically how he talks about her and won’t take no for an answer. It’s played for laughs because she’s a badass and he’s kinda schlubby, but it’s still harassment.

You just reminded me of what my Mom called hotdog s’mores: butterflied hotdogs spread with a thin layer of yellow mustard, topped with instant mashed potatoes, and finished with shredded cheddar. Broil until the cheese melts and the exposed potato begins to brown. Would work as a limb for Food Voltron.

See’s chocolates or GTFO. (I am sad that I no longer live near a store because the shipping costs are wicked expensive.)

It makes me think of when Cook’s Illustrated (or was it ATK?) did a blind taste test study of fake Mrs. Buttersworth-style syrup to real maple syrup with a bunch of people. I forget where they did it, but it was in a large public place where you’d get random people. Anyhow, they figured out that people’s preferences

There’s also a lot of fatphobia. There’s plenty to make fun of regarding Hitchcock and Scully without resorting to that.

Not going to lie, finding out about Terry Crews’s documented homophobia and not having G Union’s back is a major bummer and I’m not as excited about this returning as I would have been a few weeks ago. We’ve just lost The Good Place, so I will probably watch it, but not with the same enthusiasm.

If I had a colleague treating me like Charles treats Rosa in that first season IRL, I would definitely be documenting shit and probably job hunting.

This was such a perfect laughing-through-the-tears moment, and honestly, isn’t that sort of the best you can hope for in life? I’m very curious to see how it holds up in a year or so when it’s not still so fresh, but wow, that finale was one of the most intensely satisfying tv experiences I’ve ever had.

Sadly, my former archdiocese has released NOTHING. Not surprising because as I search surrounding cities to my hometown that are also in that archdiocese, there are plenty of hits.

To be fair (to be faaaaaaair) regarding Mideval Times, you’re paying for an actual floor show as well.

When you’re sick but not the kind of sick that makes your stomach upset, because restaurants can be too loud, because the restaurant is too crowded, because you’re already on sensory overload from your workday and just want the peace of your home with good food you didn’t have to make and clean up yourself for a

Regarding Steven Tyler, one of my old bosses met him at a charity event, and they chatted for a good hour or so about the cause. She had no idea who he was and didn’t find out until after he’d left to talk to someone else and a staffer told her. Said he was lovely.

Is it his wife’s job to educate him though? I mean, yes, we should let our loved ones know when they’ve fucked up, but he’s a grown man with an education and internet access. He can learn if he wants to. Other people as well have been trying to help him understand both this choice and his homophobic comments are

I remember not liking Madame Bovary in high school and haven’t read it since. I’ve been meaning to re-read it at some point to see if I truly don’t like it or if I just lacked the necessary perspective and life experience to appreciate it. I think a lot of the issues with how we approach K1-12 English lit in this

If they could figure out a way to waffle a McGriddle, though...
