I would love to see an ensemble TV show and/or movie where all the cast are character actors. No improbably beautiful people, just ordinary-looking folks who are really good at acting.

I just checked my hometown, and only? got one hit...and his first assignment was where I went to Catholic school. It had a K-8 school attached. He was gone after a year. His subsequent assignments were often just a year or two. It’s not hard to imagine why he got reassigned so often. He’s long dead, but if I still had…
I have to believe that at least the worm bit is his.
They should have asked “should I?” instead of “can I?”
The biggest problem I have with eggplant is when it’s undercooked. For me, it’s one of those things that needs to be really well-done; no al dente, please and thank you. The first time I had it and liked it was a Thai eggplant dish that used the smaller Japanese eggplants. Then I had baingan bharta, a roasted/smoked…
It’s smart (and classy) of him to stay out of it. That said, if we can’t get a woman and if his sitcom doesn’t pan out, I would love to see what Kenan would do with it playing it straight. (At least have him host an April Fool’s episode!)
I remember seeing the trailer for this and thinking, “Josh Gad? Well, I guess Matt Berry’s tied up with What We Do in the Shadows.”
“I think that narrows the talent pool too much”
We are sooooo overdue for removing tax exemption from religious organizations.
I don’t generally follow royal news, but I do read The Guardian, and wow I was shocked by how anti-Meghan their coverage has been. It’s subtle, but it’s all from the perspective of courtiers (their actual term!) and don’t make any mention of all at how Markle’s been treated in the press and the general racist vitriol…
Does it have pockets? It looks like you could hide some pockets in the side seam.
He reminds me a bit of Bryan Cranston a bit in that respect.
I’m sad I never saw this one in the wild to try it because every Nokia device I ever ran across—phone and netbook—was just so lovely to touch: weight, balance, particularly satisfying button clicks. That said, I can’t imagine walking around with that thing as my phone, and I guess not enough other people could either.
I also recall the earbuds they included with it being surprisingly good, as in I used them with my Walkman as often as with my GameBoy.
It does not surprise me in the least that a hack like Michaels makes a classic correlation = causation error. This sort of concern trolling is something fat people have to deal with all the time and it’s really destructive—particularly when you look at all the other shit black women have to deal with in our society.…
Moffat just can’t let a female character be some sort of mystery box in service of his male protagonists.
Oh, and I’m sure even in death those pathetic, bitter asshats will find some way to continue to be vile about her.
No, but now they can take legal action when called for, which I believe they could not before.
And if they renounce the money, which they’re in the process of doing (which I imagine involves a ton of red tape), who cares if they keep the titles? Heck, they deserve them all the shit Meghan in particular has been subjected to.
Gee, what could possibly go wrong? It’s not like AIs inherit the bias of their creators or perpetuate existing inequalities or anything. Plus, the big production houses are clearly taking too many risks in which scripts they develop and greenlight!
