Giz is a 50/50: tons of libertarian trolls (RIP original io9)

Looking back, cutting David’s talking heads to always mentioning that he can’t come first make sense given the new editing ethos.

I’ve definitely seen cashew chicken on menus in CA and the northeast.

My four weren’t picked by anybody! 1) twice-cooked pork 2) scallion pancakes 3) kung pao chicken and 4) mapo tofu

Tutoring is not good money unless you’ve got an excellent pedigree (social and/or academic) and access to rich people. Teaching and tutoring are also both intellectually, emotionally, and socially exhausting. I would absolutely not want to tutor as a side hustle.

99% of what’s on Netflix is not what I would call great cinema, and Apatow acting like some sort of prima donna (don?) about how people consume his catalog is funnier than anything he’s been involved with.

I wonder if a dance belt would work for PENIS’s issue?

Dragon nests in one of the abandoned wrecked keeps that somehow survived the fall of the Wall and Jon and Ghost have to go get them. His best bro Tormund joins them (with a bear) as they have to learn how to train a dragon. Hilarity ensues.

I can’t help but wonder how the last season would have played out if Cogman had full control instead of D&D. He clearly understood the characters, story, and world better.

If someone makes a Trump-themed mockumentary, they need to get the actor who played Healy in OITNB to play Bannon. (Someone please make this.)

I still miss it and it’s been about six years since I had my last cigarette...and I was never even a terribly heavy smoker—1–2 a day at the most with days where I didn’t smoke at all.

Hard to tell, but in addition to increasing the wages (which are needed), also local conditions are important, like how good the management team is at actually managing people in a way that makes them take some amount of pride in their work and stopping toxic behavior promptly. I’ve worked some jobs that would have

I honestly can’t see how something could be Cowboy Bebop without Yoko Kanno scoring it. I can get past all kinds of other changes, but the music is essential.

I mean, I know the correct lyric, but it still sounds like “douche.”

“Holding me down” here is referencing sex (also in the song “you could have had a bad bitch, non-committal”). What was supposed to be a fun fling has soured.

My main concern is power. I need my phone to make calls on the other side, and USB charging ports or power outlets aren’t standard in non-premium seating. And it’s another instance of wanting to strangle Apple for not letting you charge and listen at the same time with wired headphones.

It’s mid-Atlantic, which is something you don’t hear very often from actors these days.

When I was a teacher, I had the same coffee shop fantasy...and I wasn’t the only one.

Ken Jeong is one of those comedic actors just goes too far for my taste, although does well with strong direction. (See also Jim Carey and Melissa McCarthy)

More than any other candidate aside from Trump in my lifetime, Bernie’s VP pick, should he get the nomination, is going to be crucial.
