Right? At least Juggaloism is an (apparently harmless?) ethos.

I’ll never understand why he hasn’t had a bigger career

She really is. That so many people feel the need to shout her down instead of just tune her out says a lot.

I feel like it becomes a mess at the bust. She looks fantastic because she always does, but it doesn’t look even well-tailored on her...and if it’s not well-fitting on her, what the heck kind of chance does anyone else have?

Seriously. That whole look is a glorious, magnificent fuck-you to D&D.

She doesn’t write her entry because Knight Commanders write about their predecessors and fellow knights. It’s rare for someone to come into that position from the get-go; usually they’re promoted from within. That said, given all the other liberties D&D took, that would have been much more satisfying to see her start

In addition to what others have said, it also strengthened the bonds between the Westerosi who fought. I imagine the northern lords will be even more firmly behind Sansa as she offered Winterfell for protection and basically ran shit, and survivors from the Vale and elsewhere will spread the tale of what happened

This post is made of stars

Oh, god, D’orothea. He predicted Rachel Dolezal. And apart from Mrs. Madrigal, I have some feelings about the female characters in the series, although I should probably do another read through.

True. My mom read them while they were still being published as a serial in the Chron, which is part of my emotional attachment. I think the pathos of change hits me particularly hard because almost all of my friends have been displaced from SF & the peninsula due to housing costs.

I do think that the wildfire thing would be something Jaime might think to let Tyrion know while he’s Hand of the King to Joffrey, but clearly his head was too far up his own ass for that. But subsequently? Especially after they manage to reconcile post his truth bomb about Tysha & Tryion having killed their father?

Lord Commanders only write about their predecessors and fellow knights: her successor will write her page. (And if it’s not Pod, let’s hope they talk to him first.)

Did he tell Cersei?

I mean, the fact that D&D managed to add more sexual assault would not surprise me if they thought Sansa “needed” this...experience...to come out stronger...hence my and other’s disgust at her convo with the Hound. Dudes, she’d suffered enough without that to have learned some hard lessons.

His parentage gave him the stronger claim to the throne and thus could rally the nobles who aren’t happy with Dany. She couldn’t countenance him possibly being used against her, with or without his consent. It adds political stakes.

And Jaime knowing about the dragon(s) going south with the wildfire stashed under the city he sacrificed his reputation to save would give him a more realistic reason to flee south after the big battle with the dead than suddenly deciding he has to die with his sister with his sister after all.

I can totally see her learning how to sidestep her creepy uncle whilst learning a whole new court’s machinations would give her the requisite savvy and strength.

Not to mention it ends with Jaime burning Cersei’s summons to follow Brienne unknowingly to Lady Stoneheart.

It’s particularly disappointing that they just didn’t hand it off because they had other excellent writers on staff who were also on the production team. They could have stepped out but still collected checks.

I kinda hate how fanfic just gets dismissed as lazy drivel. Does it include bad, self-indulgent writing? Sure! But it also has a lot of legitimately well done works that are better crafted and paced than some of the episodes we got in GoT.
