I’m not a big Lady Gaga fan but she seems like a good person who cares about others and her fans. NYT Cooking is so awesome.  I love Sam’s emails most days of the week.  I primarily cook from the app - most of my go to recipes are on there, and I try new ones all the time.  Aside from a few favorite cookbooks, I am always going there.  

I started greying as a teenager and have been coloring my roots since I was in my early 20s. At 41, I’m using this opportunity to find out what it really looks like. I told my friends I’ll be in caftans before this is over.

Me too! I love seeing what other people making in the kitchen, and helping people who are new to cooking or baking out with any tips I can give them.

I think I am the least aesthetically pleasing cook in existence. Most of my food comes out tasting great, but my GOD it’s ugly. I’ve long felt like I should start a blog called something like “Holy Shit, What Went Wrong?” just to show people how hideous my cooking is.

I love seeing what people are cooking and I’ll take kitchen/food shots over mirror selfies at the gym. They don’t have to be pretty or well presented either, I’m just really curious about what people cook and make at home.

I’m managing to take a shower, put on moisturizer, and brush my teeth every day.

I’m currently pregnant with my first. It was on my list this month to start visiting daycares and get on waiting lists. Like everything else, that won’t happen. It’s really such a strange limbo to be living in — life still moves forward with all activities just stopped. What kind of world will I be bringing this baby…

My wife is a nurse in the Seattle-area. The hospitals are slammed. ER and ICU already overflowing. No N95 masks, low on everything else (basic surgical masks, gloves, etc).
