Yeah, that is such BS. I get that systems get abused, but it’s been proven that companies who treat their employees well on such things benefit in the long run due to employee happiness/loyalty, retention of talent and less time spent hiring/training replacements.

I had ElMorenitoGordito earlier this year, and cobbled together my vacation, sick days and my company’s paltry 2-week paid maternity leave (that you get if you’ve been there for at least 5 YEARS) to come up with 6 weeks of leave. And I’m LUCKY compared to so many women in the US.

As a nursing mother with a couple of upcoming business trips, this would be amazing. Crazy that breast milk can’t be brought on a plane unless you have a baby with you. If I had the baby with me, I wouldn’t need to be pumping (as much)!
