Oh, don't worry, I'm with you. Fortunately, for every 10 Julia's, there were a couple of us to roll our eyes.

Ugh, I went to college with Julia Allison. Couldn't stand her then, wouldn't want to raise my blood pressure over her now (nor would I want to reward her with pageviews).

Awesome, indeed! Thanks for the info :)

I can't find any source link on this, but between the glasses, music selection and, well, EVERYTHING about this, I'm going to guess that he is German.

More power to you—and please drink a couple for me! Hell, drinking is fun. I would do it more if my body and lifestyle permitted.

Right now I have to limit myself to wine b/c I'm nursing (and to the concern trolls, no, I don't nurse after 3 glasses—not right after, anyway). But sadly, it was the same even with clear alcohol before I got pregnant. I just can't drink like I used to—at least not if I want to get off the couch the next day.

"...and the singer herself probably sleeping off one killer hangover"

Word on the "lack of village" thing. My husband and I moved to a new city this summer, and I gave birth to our wonderful little bambina in September. It is SO HARD not having family or even close friends to come over and help take her off our hands every once in a while. We have a great nanny, but she only covers

Honestly, the first trimester was, by far, the hardest part for me. There were nights when my husband would go out of his way to make something he thought I'd like for dinner, only to have me eat two bites and pass out by 7:30. I just felt like shit all the time, and so freaking exhausted.

That sounds awesome!! I did yoga and moderate workouts up until about your stage, then started to taper off as I felt bigger and was tired more often. With dance and yoga, I'm sure you're very tuned-in to your body, and it will definitely tell you when to ease up. As I'm sure you know, it will also help with labor,

What a badass! Proof that women can do a wide range of activities while pregnant, as long as they follow a few basic guidelines and listen to their bodies.

Yeah—I wasn't drinking heavily, but I definitely consumed many cocktails those first few weeks before I knew (it was the holidays, then we went on a beach vacation). Of course, I stopped once I found out (until the 2nd trimester when I started my one-glass-a-week wine policy), but I avoided the internets with the

Before I knew I was pregnant, I went surfing and ziplining with LaMorenita on board. Let's all chill the fuck out and stop jumping at every chance to judge pregnant women. Per yesterday's post, it sounds like this waterslide was off the side of a yacht... not exacty Raging Rivers. Good grief.

That's funny. I've found that bars/restaurants playing music videos is much more common in Europe. And yes—there is no denying the power and quality of her voice. I adore her music!

AAAAAHHHHHH!!! That is incredible. Now I'm flat-out jealous! You are going to LOVE it. It's such a romantic city, the people are warm and generous, food and wine are amazing, everything is cheap, it's close to the beach and tons of cute towns... Oh, and you're arriving right in the midst of Rebajas, when all of

Oh, I'm so excited for you (and slightly envious). I spent a year in Sevilla for study-abroad, and it was one of the best experiences of my life. I hope you have the best time!! Where will you be? One of my favorite things was taking advantage of the cheap bus and train fares to travel around the country. Enjoy,

I did! I lived there for a year, and was really lucky to have Spanish friends to take me around to the different casetas each day. We would arrive at the fairgrounds at ~4pm and stay out all night, hopping around to the different tents to eat, drink and dance. I'll never forget it!

I lucked out big-time and found one on sale for 60 EUR when I lived in Sevilla (though that was still a lot for my poor-ass college self). It's solid turquoise, and I wore it with yellow and white accessories (shawl, fan, flowers in my hair, jewelry, espadrilles, etc.). I LOVED that dress!!!

One of my proudest memories was rocking a full traje gitana (flamenco dress) at the Feria de Sevilla when I lived there for a year. One of my slightly-snobby male friends told me that I did it justice—perhaps one of the highest compliments I've ever received!

Word. And besides, his bitchiness is kind of his whole schtick. Love him or hate him (personally, I fall into the former camp), he tends to call it like he sees it, consequences be damned.
