I reckon he’s off being Yorick somewhere.

I’m fond of LUSH’s Breath of God which smells like that study. As does the room spray and candles made by True Grace in the scent Library. They also do a great Amber scent which is a-mah-zing.

“I love those things: so useful!”

I’d never buy diamonds new and never a big one. I’m fond of the early 20th century settings, usually hexagonal, with a little diamond chip in them. or something mental from bloodmilk.com with moonstone or labradorite. actually, married or not I’m getting a bloodmilk ring.

I think people raised in a barn would be more conscious of how their actions impact on those sharing such a small space. perhaps raised in a mansion? or an airplane hangar?

I shall. Lavender, also. :P

I emphatically agree. I will never regret finding out about all the rulers of the past as well as the great thrill of finding ordinary objects that speak of ordinary lives and daily tasks.

no need to be satisfied with such short shrift though

Be shh now, Piers.

I, too, wish to cry buckets.

*sheepishly raises hand*

I actually do understand all of this you know. I know what “the Netherlands” means: literally, geographically and historically without aid of Wikipedia (but that is also stated in the Wikipedia the article): that was my original point when you said “it’s in Belgium” and I said “not at the time”. That is accurate.

My issue was with you calling the sack legal. I am aware antwerp is not in the Netherlands however Antwerp was the “cultural, economic and financial centre of the Netherlands” as stated in the Wikipedia article you condescended to direct me to.

I’d rather destroy the black market in antiquities, actually.

At the time Antwerp was part of the Netherlands. Belgium did not exist as a discrete state until later. Also, they were actively revolting against invaders and the Spanish Fury was a sacking of the city - destruction, massacre and theft could hardly be considered “legal”. Much like the sacking of Costantinople it was

As soon as I saw that I thought “that’s gotta be here”. And lo, it was ’Straya.

I love you bc you love fdr.

Why is this happening to me?

Much Of Italy, Turkey Very Surprised, Worried.

I'm on medication that gives me lowered saliva production. I get cavities from that no matter what I do. be nice if basic dental were covered by Medicare here (Aus).
