@jedchev: I don't think there's an official answer, but I think it started as "Luxury Trim Designation" or something similar on full size Fords.
@cobrajoe: Anyone who says that is wrong! When the Fox body LTD came out, it was called just plain "LTD," and the fullsize Panther cars were "LTD Crown Victoria."
@cobrajoe: THAT IS NOT AN LTD II. THIS IS AN LTD II.
As probably the biggest early Fox body fan here, and a person who has a lot of personal experience with these cars, it pains me to say this, but pass the pipe.
@The Cheat: Come to California, plenty of clean examples here.
The video is an '85 Turbo Coupe though. /nerd
@Perry the Platypus: Hey, I didn't name the video.
Coulda been a lot worse.
Tomicas for the win!
@shinjukuDLJ: Bottom breather, like a Camaro. But they didn't get enough air, which is why the 93+ cars have regular grilles.
@Subie fanatic who is stuck in a Toyota Matrix for the time being: I understand they have to do that, since in the UK it's a full hour due to no commercials. I was just pissed they cut the best part.
Sweet Airstream back there too.
Last night I went to the local main street car show (Cruisin' Grand in Escondido, CA) and had a long talk with the owner of a 302 powered Pinto that was at the show. He also had a stock Pinto at home.
@Subie fanatic who is stuck in a Toyota Matrix for the time being: I was SO disappointed when BBC America cut that part from that episode when it aired here. That was the best part IMO.
@scottcom36: Whoa, the author of this article and the one about the CB radio are one in the same. How could that be?!
@hawkeye18: First, take a nap.
@Vavon: Red, behind the '65 Impala and in front of the full size Pontiac.
Bitchin CB antenna.
