Wow, that blows.

My '85 LTD.

While it does sound weak, one may argue that a high pitched horn like that may stand out from ambient noise more than a lower pitched horn will.

Error 2.2, 1982 LeBaron not found.

In other news, water is wet.

@T5Killer: And how come the Century is a 3.0L V6? It seems that not much research is done to try and find the correct photos in these top 10 lists.

I am very surprised the Ford 3.8L V6 didn't make the cut.

Already voted Crack Pipe on Bring A Trailer :)

@Rob-Stercraw: You can't necessarily blame the VV carb. They put those on 351s too.

I'll buck the trend and go with a motor that was only horrible because it was completely neutered by malaise: The Ford 255 V8. A 115 HP Ford Windsor motor. Obviously, being a Windsor meant it was a pretty stout motor as far as reliability goes, but the output is just pathetic.

@Rob-Stercraw: Can't dispute that one bit. I used to be able to swap a Windstar tranny with my eyes closed.

I really doubt I'll see anything better than this on the internet today.

So sad. Of course this is going to result in tighter safety precautions. I just hope that everyone involved realizes that this is just an unfortunate side effect of this type of racing, and that the sanctioning body won't get sued. Stuff like this is bound to happen sometimes.

I really wish the CA Antique Vehicle plates were less restrictive. You can pretty much only drive a car with them to parades and stuff.

Whoa, there are a couple of old Altamont vets, including that 6-series BMW and the Red Bear E30. Haven't seen them in a while.

Only 3 toy cars at work, two in Matchbox scale: An AMC Hornet and a Ford Maverick, plus a PGC10 Skyline GT-R penny racer from Japan.

My friend in NYC applied for the internship last time and I guess he didn't make the cut. Maybe he'll get another chance. He drives an straight-6 '69 Camaro and a Peugeot 505 for cryin' out loud!
